Bro plz tell me i am confused about direct drive and belt drive. Are repairs in direct drive involves whole set up like drum etc attached to motor to be replaced. So is it better to buy belt drive in which only belt need to be replaced most times but not the whole drum and motor attached setup.
you are correct about the part that only belt is to be replaced untill and unless the motor gets damaged.
Most companies give 10 years warranty on motor, so Direct drive is good as you won't need to worry for 10 years. Direct drive is silent and energy efficient compared to belt motor.
Brother after every cycle we have to clean the drain pipe ? Manually . Iam talking about the drain compartment below right hand side of the door which has that circular flap ? Do we have to clean it after every wash or once in a month? . I usually wash clothes on every sunday
if you wash once every week them you can clean it once in 3 months

yes it can give some black spots in the drum of the machine i have heard it form many customers who did it.
I have Bosch WAJ2846SIN, do we have to do the descaling every month? As instructed by Bosch Engineer. We have regular municipal water in my area of Bangalore City.
And the liquid descaler costs 699Rs, is this so costly, do we have an alternative for this priced item.

It depends on your use
For regular use i think descaling after 2-3 months should be fine
If bosh descaler is costly then you can do with other brands as well like IFB, LG etc
And use power descaler instead of liquid

you can don't worry you can put less clothes it won't be a problem and it won't cause any trouble even it will take less water consumption....but my only doubt is then why are you going for 8k ki machine if you just two people in the family let me think about it for a while and come up with another machine which can be very helpful and maybe cost you less also

Thanks for nice and useful information. Our Bosch Fully Automatic Front Loading Washing Machine was making noise during mid cycle. I called tell free number of the Bosch and it mechanic came. He opened the lid of drainage system of the machine and without opening any thing further told that the drain pump is not working and needs to be replaced. On enquiry he told that it can't be repaired and will have to be replaced with a new one. He told Rs. 6,500/- cost of pump and also that he will carry the defective parts with him. On further enquiry he revealed that he was not employee of the Bosch Company. My query from you is as follows.
i) How to ascertain whether drain pump is damaged beyond repairs?
ii) What is the price of genuine Bosch drain pump for front loading fully automatic washing machine?
iii) Whether duplicate drain pumps for above washing machine are being used by these mechanics? If so, how to distinguish between genuine and duplicate drain pumps?
iv) Contact number of Bosch Service Center in Gurugram.
I shall be grateful to you for early response. Thanks.

machine is check by company before sending if it was properly sealed and packed then it think you should not worry as long as its working fine. plus it would not be a used product because waj in new series and cannot be an old product so dont worry.

I bought the machine just a day before n demo was not given properly n when we started washing clothes it was not washing we called the dealer then he sent the man then he checked for 1.5 hrs n told us it is having manufacturing defect n card is not working then I called the dealer n he told me to make complaint at co online later the company is not responding nor any officials are attended my complaint later I tried a lot then a co official detecting me and using unofficial language and telling me to check again when i am now requiring refund not to replacement but they are totally indifferent I sent mail for refund of money for worst quality product it is 45000 refund but the co officials are even not responding? Tomorrow morning I am filling FIR against the co. N case in the consumer court
