In the spring, we are doing a nationwide helicopter flight to all lower 48-states; you guys should fly in tandem along with us when we pass through your neck of the woods.
So you guys put a totally new spin on family trips. Where most people buy a bigger vehicle for road trips, you guys bought a bigger heli for family flights. Fun to watch. 👍
@micah you're such an amazing family man, husband and father. Your family 👪❤💙 is such an inspiration to us all. Please keep all these amazing videos 📹coming.
Wow! Two of my favorite Sunday things...The Muzio family and PIE!!! And just for the record, a' la mode for me, please! Love you guys...Thanks for making us feel like part of the family!
Great to see a new flying vid. Who doesn't love an en-route game of I spy!? "I spy through my FLYING EYES, something beginning with..." (You can use that next time!) You're welcome!
We used to fly out to Drilling platforms and drilling ships on Bell Ranger and Vietnam era Hueys; they were so much nicer than taking a slow work boat and using 'Tarzan ropes' to swing onto the platform. Theses were off Ventura and Santa Barbara counties; one time we were way past point Conception/ Vandenburg. Love your adventures with your beautiful Family.
Awesome family video, and you are creating memories for your lovely daughter that she'll remember for a lifetime. You and Evie seem like awesome parents, and it is easy to see you have a happy daughter on your hands (that is a sign of good parenting!). Keep them coming!
Love this video, the joy on all your faces to be able to fly somewhere comfortably together says it all. I am looking forward to more flying videos both adventures like you did with the Enstrom and more family adventures as well. great video!
Awesome video. Your daughter is so cute. That's the only way to go for pie. All the best with your new helicopter. Fly safe. I love flying in helicopters. Flew in the SCPD helicopter many times when I was a Detective. I fly drones now in retirement.
Somehow I was living vicariously thru your daughter - I'm 68 years old, and guess what I found out? I'm scared of helicopters lol. No crap, I felt nervous and uneasy on that flight!! Guess I won't be going helicoptering any time soon - wait, no, I'm a guy, I'm not afraid, I'm not afraid lol. Geese, I was a touch sweaty and as a huge pie lover (what's that movie where the guy goes in and says "I'll have 2 of every pie"?) I wasn't even interested in the pies by the time we got there! I wanted OUT of the helicopter lol. Who knew?
What a cool family outing! Thanks for your perspective Mini Muzio and glad to hear that unicorn had a good first flight! Doe Mini Muzio have suggestions on the next family outing?
I could think of so many places I would rather fly to in a helicopter than drive!! Congratulations again on the R44 and I hope it gives you many great years of service!!
I have the same list of questions as Evie. Is the whipped cream from a can or homemade? What flavors of pie? What flavors of ice cream? It’s a conundrum! Also I’m not sure what your distance limit is for your helicopter trips but maybe Kings Canyon & Sequoia National Parks, Bass Lake (check out Jones Store at Beasore Meadows for a great tri-tip sandwich), and Yosemite National Park.
😭😭 So wholesome! I personally like seeing any of the Southern California landmarks. Specifically Los Angeles/San Diego, but I’m here for any family helicopter adventures!
Just started following you. Your family looks like you’re having a great time. Would love to see you fly out to Catalina Island and fly around the entire island. Your daughter will love it! Keep up the great videos.
Hi Micah. Greetings from Australia. Your flights over the L.A. area during the height of the lockdowns last year were amazing and I found them strangely therepeutic. Really enjoyed seeing a heap of places like Disneyland Resort that you normally don't get to experience in such detail courtesy of less air traffic. Glad to see you and your family are all safe and well and back in the air again enjoying the new R44. Keep the videos coming. There's always room for more family friendly fun. Love and best wishes to you all.
Another great video 👍 Norton AFB was the site of my first landing in California (in an RAF L1011) way back in the early 90s. Managed to notch up a few more since (ONT/SFO/SAN and of course LAX) ✈️
I would love to see you fly over Newport and balboa beach, My wife and I took our daughters to LA in 2018 from newzealand for 2 weeks and did some of the theme parks, Also got to paso Roble for the California mid state fair, We really love the US and would love to come back sometime when all this COVID stuff is over, Newzealand is in lockdown at the moment as we now have the delta virus as of last week. Anyhow I enjoy your videos, especially the one where you followed the LA river from the Hollywood area to the sea, Thanks for that one, Oh and the pie looked great, I’ll put that on my bucket list, All the best and take care of your wonderful family.
Fly to Buffalo Burgers at AVX next? Or perhaps a flight out here to Albuquerque for some green chile and a tour of Albuquerque ARTCC if you ever have some time in the area!
Thank you for the great video and your wonderful family (you’re daughter is sooo cute)didn’t even know about that pie company I’m sure they’re going to get flooded with pie orders and people wanting to land their helicopters there just like you 😀
I like my pie unadorned. Otherwise, it is just an excuse to eat whipped cream or ice cream. Q, on the cyclic, is it difficult to get used to it not being center to you? Seems a bit different being off to the side or center of craft.
Honestly, the t-bar cyclic has been fine from a control perspective. And it makes ingress and egress much easier. The only real downside is the potential for accidentally cyclic inputs made by a front seat passenger hitting the vertical bar. I’ve modified my passenger safety briefing accordingly. More importantly, what’s wrong with an excuse to eat whipped cream? 😁
Loved the video. I’d like to see a map of the route you take on each flight.(sorry evie) lol I’m from UK and I am also interested in the routes you take.
Maybe it's a British thing, but the best thing to accompany pie in my opinion is custard rather than cream or ice cream :) Looks like a great helicopter and I look forward to some more content now that it's up and running. I'm also now in the mood for pie hahaha. Although I'm wondering... will you still be doing your old concept of helicopter videos alongside the new family ones, or are you switching over to family trips completely? I really enjoyed your random tour videos around the sights of southern California last year - they helped to keep me sane during lockdowns in the UK.
I'm enjoying your channel. The trip to Julian to get some pie was very good. My family and I live in Canyon Lake California back in the seventies and eighties before we moved to Washington state. It would be nice if you flew over Canyon Lake . This brings back a lot of great memories.
Good to see you all flying again. I know the pain of airplane ownership being SLOW!!! I'd personally like to see overnight weekend trips all throughout California showing us places like the sequoia national forest, redwoods, the mountains etc. You guys can get an Air bnb or just a hotel and show us around your part of the country!
Wonderful trip! I’m glad you guys are enjoying the new helicopter together! I immediately thought of the Julian Pie company when I saw the title. When I lived with my folks down in San Diego we have family out in Ramona so we’d take a weekend drive once a month or so to visit them and hit Dudley’s bakery in Santa Ysabel, as well as Julian Cafe for Pie up in Julian. When I was learning to drive my Dad would make me drive it to get the mountain road experience. I need to make that drive again next time I visit them, it’s been a little too long. Thanks for the memories!
When I see Julian my mind goes straight to Dudley's. We'd go a couple times a year and I'd eat chunks of their Date Nut Raisin on the way home. Good times.
do you know what would be fun for your daughter? you should take your daughter back to Long beach where the controllers know you and let them meet your daughter. you should probably do that at the current home airport for the helicopter as well.
Lots of meringue, please! I love lemon meringue pie! I like the Ned Flanders reference. As Homer Simpson said: "Stupid, sexy Flanders" 😂 Happy to see that Little Evie enjoyed the flight, but what would Evie Fly? 😃🤚
Hi Micah, I recall you once remarked that you preferred the tri-rotor set-up on the Enstrom as it's a safer design. Is that something you had to consider when choosing this new bird with only two blades?
Robinsons use the two bladed design to cut costs and weight. Two blades is inherently less safe than three or more, however an experienced pilot will be able to almost completely mitigate the risks associated with the two bladed system by avoiding low G environments and rapid cyclic movements. Robinsons have a bad rep because they are the most affordable helicopters on the market, and amateur pilots tend to not fully understand how to avoid mast bumping.
In the spring, we are doing a nationwide helicopter flight to all lower 48-states; you guys should fly in tandem along with us when we pass through your neck of the woods.
The adorable factor here is off the charts.
Excellent video, honestly could your little girl be any more adorable? Fabulous, loved it! Great work Micah.
So you guys put a totally new spin on family trips. Where most people buy a bigger vehicle for road trips, you guys bought a bigger heli for family flights. Fun to watch. 👍
Yup. Excellent idea.
@micah you're such an amazing family man, husband and father. Your family 👪❤💙 is such an inspiration to us all. Please keep all these amazing videos 📹coming.
You're very kind. Thanks!
Wow! Two of my favorite Sunday things...The Muzio family and PIE!!! And just for the record, a' la mode for me, please! Love you guys...Thanks for making us feel like part of the family!
Man, Micah and family goals👨👩👧. Good people, great videos, keep it up bro! Stay Blessed
Thanks so much, Ricky!
Helicopter flight AND wholesome parenting about managing one's fear.
Obviously, I think she's the best but it's nice to hear others agree. Cheers!
Happy to see you enjoying your new helicopter. I love when you take us along. You have a lovely family and great content
Thanks for the kind comment, Janet. All the best!
Great video guys we've missed the Heli videos.. Your daughter is amazing and so lovely my wife just loves watching and listening to her. .
I love how wholesome this video was. So sweet. I also loved the music too.
I love literally everything about this one. Thank you for sharing Micah. I confess, I am a bit jelly as this looks so fun.
Wow Just plain Wow ! What a day trip ! so well done.
My fixed wing brain thought you were going to land at Ramona first. Duh, of course you can land a helicopter directly at your destination.
Helicopters are slow, loud, and inefficient. But for quickly getting pie, they're kinda perfect.
I came here for the helicopter but fell in love with your daughter! Absolutely adorable
Great to see a new flying vid. Who doesn't love an en-route game of I spy!? "I spy through my FLYING EYES, something beginning with..." (You can use that next time!) You're welcome!
I will absolutely steal that! 🙌
Now I have to try the Julian Pie Company!
They really do make an awesome pie.
Julian pies are so good! Especially on a cold winter weather with hot cocoa.
Fun stuff. Thx for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
We used to fly out to Drilling platforms and drilling ships on Bell Ranger and Vietnam era Hueys; they were so much nicer than taking a slow work boat and using 'Tarzan ropes' to swing onto the platform. Such a wonderful family ❤
You're very kind, Tim.
Awesome family video, and you are creating memories for your lovely daughter that she'll remember for a lifetime. You and Evie seem like awesome parents, and it is easy to see you have a happy daughter on your hands (that is a sign of good parenting!). Keep them coming!
Thanks for sharing your helicopter adventures with us. I think I should add helicopter rating and start enjoying life.
Any time is the air is awesome. But if you need encouragement to get your helicopter license, I'm happy to help.😁
Yeah you could do a flyby in LA a year after the Covid
I second this one.
Love this video, the joy on all your faces to be able to fly somewhere comfortably together says it all. I am looking forward to more flying videos both adventures like you did with the Enstrom and more family adventures as well. great video!
Love this...your daughter is ADORABLE!
Awesome video. Your daughter is so cute. That's the only way to go for pie. All the best with your new helicopter. Fly safe. I love flying in helicopters. Flew in the SCPD helicopter many times when I was a Detective. I fly drones now in retirement.
If I had a little more time I would definitely dive into the FPV drone world. They look SUPER fun.🤘
Hey, you gave it a shot and it wasn't for you. Nothing wrong with that!
A helicopter and a Bronco? I am SO jealous! Another cool ride Micah and a sweet family!
What a cool family outing! Thanks for your perspective Mini Muzio and glad to hear that unicorn had a good first flight! Doe Mini Muzio have suggestions on the next family outing?
Simply adorable family!!!
I could think of so many places I would rather fly to in a helicopter than drive!! Congratulations again on the R44 and I hope it gives you many great years of service!!
I really enjoyed the video, Micah. You have a wonderful family!
Well, since no one else will say it....kudos to Unicorn for grabbing life by the horns and braving her first flight 👍🚁💖
That was incredible , thanks for share flying family
And thank YOU for watching!
Great video and brilliant product placement. I especially appreciate the Ned shout out!
With enough fuel stops we can fly pretty much anywhere. :) Also, it's good to hear that Evie isn't alone with her pie philosophy.
This is so different and so cool...much better than the contents shown on the tube...great job micha
That's really kind of you to say, Marcel. Cheers!
😭😭 So wholesome! I personally like seeing any of the Southern California landmarks. Specifically Los Angeles/San Diego, but I’m here for any family helicopter adventures!
Bought the same Kestrel aviators due to you guys and they're fantastic. Love em!
That is great to hear! We love them. I'm glad you're having a great experience with your Flying Eyes too.
Have you flown over Anza Borrego yet?
I love the video, and see the R44 remained me of the hours I have with the R22 love to go back to learning more to fly.
So cool!!! You guys are awesome.
Take someone awesome to know someone awesome. 🙌
Beautiful family man your daughter is adorable Cute as a button enjoy your helicopter
Love Pie. Love Helicopters!
You’re a good bloke mate, nice to see you include your family in everything you do.
Cute family outing!! Glad you enjoyed your pie AND your flight,, I enjoyed watching!
Catalina Island beach day with the family?
This is super unique, wholesome content. Thanks for sharing. Also what a beautiful family! Hope all is well, stay safe!
Thanks for leaving such a kind comment, Daniel. Cheers!!
You need custard with Pie! Nice video as always and yes the 44 works well for this!
I'll have a word with the Julian Pie folks to see if we can add custard to the menu. :)
THAT WAS A COOL FLIGHT & THEY LET'S YOU LAND THERE AT THE PIE COMPANY RIGHT ON👍 ALWAYS ENJOY YOUR VIDEO'S 🤜🤛🤳👍👍
Wow!... I really love this channel, and that little girl is plus 👍👍
Just started following you. Your family looks like you’re having a great time. Would love to see you fly out to Catalina Island and fly around the entire island. Your daughter will love it! Keep up the great videos.
One more pair of Flying Eyes for the backseat passenger. Fun Flight😎

Micah, your daughter is too cute 😊
You guys!!! This was awesome.
I've been to Julian several times. I never knew helicopters could land at the Pie Company. Nice video I enjoyed it.
Adorable family. I enjoyed tagging along!
Thanks for joining us!
Micah, so nice to experience your flight vlogs once again. Next family adventure suggestion should be San Diego.
Absolutely! San Diego is a definite yes.
Another great video 👍
Norton AFB was the site of my first landing in California (in an RAF L1011) way back in the early 90s. Managed to notch up a few more since (ONT/SFO/SAN and of course LAX) ✈️

Great Video. Very relaxed and fun. BTW I love the pie company. I live in San Diego and drive there often.
Loving the vids, keep up the great work
Congrats on your first family flight in the 44!!! Kiddo did amazing! Looking forward to more adventures!
It's such a relief that the neither Evie or our kiddo have air sickness issues in the new chopper. Whew!
@@MicahMuzio brave little kiddo! Glad you didn't have to clean up any unicorn puke lol
@@beardown6574 Ha! I literally lol'd at your comment. :)
@@MicahMuzio 😁 appreciate the appreciation. Love all your content keep up the great work!

Omg, your daughter is so cute
Nice family. Nice adventure.
This was hella wholesome!
I wish! So cool to have those adventures. Really looking forward to more bronco reviews as well. My base 4 door squatch should be here in 2 weeks!!
I've been binging on your CUV reviews, as I was shopping around and just picked up a Sorento, only to find your flight channel. Very cool. 👍🏽
What trim did you get? How do you like it?
@@chuckwalla2967 I landed on the EX model. How do I like it? Totally underrated CUV, imo.
I'm glad you describe where you are flying by, it allows me to follow along on Google maps! :)
another amazing Muzio Family video bring a smile to my face

Glad to see you in the air again!
Thanks so much for your patience while we sorted out our helicopter situation.
do you know what would be fun for your daughter? you should take your daughter back to Long beach where the controllers know you and let them meet your daughter. you should probably do that at the current home airport for the helicopter as well.
once her voice gets a little more clear you can teach her how to talk to ATC.
Weighing in. I subscribe only for the helicopter content. Keep up the good work.
It took WAY longer than I'd hoped but we'll be sharing plenty of helicopter flights moving forward. Thanks a ton for your patience!
Pozo is a good helicopter family lunch run.
Lots of meringue, please! I love lemon meringue pie!
I like the Ned Flanders reference. As Homer Simpson said: "Stupid, sexy Flanders" 😂

Awesome.
Go to Hearst Castle I would love to see you approach and land there.
Hey Micah, hit up the French Valley Airport for breakfast sometime!! They have some GREAT FOOD there!!
My suggestion for your next flight: a little air trip to my hometown in Bremen, Germany 😁. Nice new heli. Do you use it just for fun/family/video?
Oh, man. I would love to explore Germany by helicopter. Regarding our bird, yeah we're fortunate that we get to use it just for fun.
Hi Micah, I recall you once remarked that you preferred the tri-rotor set-up on the Enstrom as it's a safer design. Is that something you had to consider when choosing this new bird with only two blades?
