    one of the best videos on this channel show the real importance of a experienced truck driver on the job , in europe a truck driver needs to be very good a big hug from a brazilian truck fan

    Als je nou slim bent dan zet je de markeringsborden op het randje van de oprijplaten zodat je die niet hoeft te verstellen.

    Why do European trailers have 6 tires, non adjustable tandems, unlike American rigs that have 8 tires and have adjustable tandems forward & reverse for weight distribution?

      A basic trailer is a 3 axle with 6 super single wheels. Better stability and weight distribution no needing to adjust the sliding tandem like on US trailers. In the USA general haulage trailers are a lot longer than what is legally allowed in Europe, or at least here in the UK. The trailer in this video is a low loader for heavy machinery and has twin tyres on each wheel, as this is a 4 axle trailer it will have a total of 16 tyres, to carry the heavier than usual weight of its load. I’d say the main reason for the differences is due to laws restricting vehicle lengths, hence why we have flat fronted forward control trucks as apposed the normal control bonneted trucks in the USA. There is bonneted trucks in Europe, but will have to pull a shorter trailer to meet regulations

      @@donberg01 for the uk, the max weight for a hgv (heavy goods vehicle) dependant on axle configuration. So the usual set up is a 3 axle trailer, pulled by a 3 axle tractor. This is allowed a maximum train weight of 44 metric tonnes. A maximum length of 16.5m long, if carrying iso containers it’s 16.65m and if a low loader 18m. And the max height would be 4.95m, in the EU I’m sure it’s 4m max (not too sure) Anything over these permitted measurements would then be classed as special categories. Obviously you can carry more weight, or longer loads but you will have to pay more road tax. You will see on the front of abnormal load trucks in the uk they display a black and white plate with the letters ‘STGO’ and then there is cat 1, cat 2 and cat 3. All going up in weight class. So for instance if you saw ‘STGO CAT 3’ that means that the vehicle can carry 150 metric ton. Hope this sheds some light!

      From California Dept. of Motor Vehicles Manuel:
      5 axle tractor semitrailer 45ft.,(13.7 M), 3 axle semi-trailers 27ft., (8.2M) doubles 45 ft., or doubles 27 ft., and the max triple trailer doubles 65 ft. (19.8M)

    the design of of cab was improved now,its ok now👍👍not like before,ugly face,many company compitator now,like volvo,daf,benz,man,evico,scania,and japanese truck they are looking good specialy hino fropia,mitsubishi,ud and isuzu among others,the customers not only look the strong power etc. etc. most of the costumer are also look the style like cars suv etc. new look for short.

    Je zult er als motor rijder maar achter zitten,die rupsen daar vliegt nog een hoop zooi vanaf onder het rijden !!! Dacht dat ze wel schoner vervoerd zouden worden,en dat de rupsen van te voren beter schoon gemaakt zouden worden.
