I'm thinking, 80 years is a long time for information to spread around, and Laplace _does_ still have fervent supporters even this long after his "sealing". Spreading word of his impending reincarnation might indeed be effective at drumming up support for Orsted's cause, but it would also risk spreading that information to Laplace's supporters, which would also give _them_ decades with which to build up their own forces, which would make Orsted's task much more difficult. So I think not namedropping Laplace was a good move on Rudeus's part.

Stressing out about Aisha seems Redundant to me, just enjoy the haha funny brothercon maid.
I think the info getting known that rudeus learned is the warm liquid incident in the forest.
For the Aisha thing it definitely feels like a I don’t know what I want to do. She was originally growing up to be a mistress for Rudy, Rudy however didn’t want that and has essentially opened up a new path for Aisha with the mercenary band. Which without context can make it seem like Rudy is setting up a place to kick Aisha off to when she turns of age, but Aisha really got to the mercenary band and loves it as a second home so the mercenary band not being there made her feel even more lonely.

Norn's friend group are students she attends school with! Ieshia's friend group are the people she works with that are not her family! Imagine how you would feel if you had 2 set's of friends and one set did not show up for an important comming of age party! For instance say your family are in a very closed religious group that does not have outsiders attend and you get married. You have a quick potluck after the 15 minute marriage and then after that you have to have another with your actual friends that are not from your church. THe only thing is none of them show up on time so you think no one is comming to celebrate with your your closest friend group has pulled a "no call no show"! That would sting! I think this makes far more sense than Ieshia feeling dejected because her brother will not let her ride his baloney pony and put a baby in her belly! She has to know her brother will never take her as a wife!

Anyway, another good chapter, another non-Rudeus chapter as usual.
And a chapter that let Rifujin play with this writing. I'm enjoyed how he wrote the whole ballroom scene in a way that tries to put is on Nina's mood with a simple trick.
Can't wait until for volume 23 episodes. Keep it up!

Your really reading to much into Aisha she showed up at the Band expecting to be able to celebrate with the members only to find it essentially empty. It's enough to make anyone depressed. Then all of Norns friends keep showing up but none of Ishas, it's just going to make her more depressed. She is still only 15 even if she has been doing this job for (maybe) several years at this point. Who's is why her "what is an Adult comment".
Also I have found the best wayrl to track time at this point in the story is to follow how old his children are. Rifujin doesn't do a good job of letting us know how much time has passed. (still better than the Anime though).

Bit of a hangup on the whole Aisha thing. Think you're looking way too much into it imo. Everything in the chapter pointed to her being sad that her second family seemingly forgot her. Not really pointing towards her sad she can't boink her brother.
It's time for my mushoku tensei fix. Oh yeah. That's the good stuf..
I just read the second Interlude and I'm sad.
Everything about Aisha makes me sad.
That paragraph about how she behaves with Arus... I'm certain that in the future she will marry him and again, damn you Rudeus GreyRATO! Makes me mad because he can see how she is going wrong, show she is being hurt by everything around her and doesn't do anything to change that. Aisha needs to get out of that house immediately!
If only Orstay could save Aisha too!

and she's super smart that securing welthy future is such a non issue to her
it could be cuz of the mercenary, but they kinda gathered fast and she didn't have the chance to grow attatched to them just yet

aisha has been in this mood for a very long time she is way more mature when she needs to be so it was just another day for her till she had her second family visit her and she got to act herself again with her friends. i think its more aisha has always been a adult in her own right that this whole thing didn't really mean anything to her cuz she has been a adult in her own right since a very young age maturity wise

Ok, my hypothesis on Aisha
Remember the part where she tries to breast feed the baby, in my mind she tests out the idea of being a mother/adult and tries to wrap her head around what that all means. Again she's not sexually active and doesn't have that context; essentially naive and is exploring the idea, like what all kids do when growing up. Think back to all that talk in the earlier chapters, was she saying things she picked up from the people around her? She didn't know what it meant, but knew she would get a reaction from Rudeus.

I think the 100 years of protection is the 80 until Laplace returns and 20 years after.
No spoilers - This is my personal take, that conversation with Ariel was not merely there to setup the situation Nina would misconstrue, there is always a chance it could be too. I wont say what it is though.

Are these typos in the script for the discussion of the chapter or typos in the book? It’s been a while since I last read this but I have noticed the published translations of some light novels have some issues, even going to the point when a character’s name is given but the context is actually about a different character, or sometimes the wording is off.

I don't think she is still interested in that all and hasn't been for years. Also she was clearly bothered because the mercenary band members didn't congratulate her when she went there early in the day

This whole Aisha thing might just be a huge bait and switch for the reader. Maybe the author wants us to think she’s still simping for rudy but really she was just bummed that no one was at the merc band. The whole watching everyone setup was probably just a part of her finding out “what is an adult”? Idk 🤷🏻♂️ just fumbling thoughts in my head

She is his sister that seems like a bridge too far. It seems sick and twisted just the idea of having sex with your sister. well you could always read the books yourself. They are avaiable in actual book format but also in pdf form. (which was my preferred way of reading them) Haha getting old my eyesight is not what it used to.
But also audiobooks are very well voice acted. That is always a solid option
I myself finished reading the main storyline couple weeks ago. But I still come here to hear his analysis and thoughts about the chapters.
