So nice of you Yudier. This is an amazing community of people. You guys are the reason I keep going on this channel. I feel it’s a platform of giving and receiving in a loving way. 🙏🏼💚🤗
Aloha Nelson! You should come to Hawaii and do a show with Jeremy and Kelly at S&W. Thanks for all the great contributions you make for the orchid lovers everywhere!!🤙🏼
Such an amazing gift for an absolutely amazing, generous person! I thank you again Nelson for showcasing your amazing healthy plants and beautiful blooms you're definitely an inspiration to me ❤
Thank you again Nelson for wonderful video, don’t be embarrassed about sweating we all in the same boat. now when we get passing shower, I stay in the rain and it feels so good. Sounds crazy, but reminds me of my childhood when we were running and playing in a summer rain ☔️ 😊😊😊 have a great week
This will come as a shock I know Nelson I love the blue orchid lol 🤣. Also that bat plant is so special 💚. Love that your always keep it real keep doing you my friend thanks for sharing 🤗
Thanks for sharing..what a beautiful orchid surprise!Ive been watching your channel lately on my tv when I’m outside enjoying my orchids..I haven’t been liking..so I will make sure I go back on my iPad and do so!I love your channel..been watching from the beginning so I want to make sure you get all the credit you deserve!❤
I've always told you miniature orchids 24:40 are spectacular bloomers! They may be small big put on big shows. My oncidium Twinkle Red Raspberry has 13 spikes on it now, and expecting them to actually open early next year since they take their time to mature. 😅
Tu regalo de hoy es preciosa el murciélago es muy Bello igual que todas tus orquideas gracias Nelson por compartir siempre veo tus videos desde Canarias españa❤❤
Your bat plant 😍😍😍 I need one in my life 😂 Well when and if I ever have the space for one that is. It’s absolutely gorgeous! And Mahalo for the shoutout 🥰 Jeremy sent you a really nice magnum and yes, it does smell like detergent right? But in a good way, not overpowering. Once again I loved this video, your reaction when you opened the box was priceless. Keep the videos coming 🤙🏽
Hi Kelly! Glad you liked it. Thank you for the compliments. Definitely you need a bat flower plant in your garden. I’m sure you’ll find space. We always do. lol! I was not expecting that at all. That’s why I jumped cause I had just watched your video and said to myself “I gotta get one of those”. Jeremy actually was quiet about it. Super surprised. It does have a detergent fragrance. Love it!
Nelson I really enjoy watching your videos! You are so charismatic and remind me so much of my island lifestyle that I miss every day. I am so jealous that you get to step out in your wonderful garden and admire all your hard work. Your lovely plants reward you millions! Thank you for sharing them with us. I look forward to your next episode 😁😁💯
Awe! I’m glad I bring nostalgia of your island life. I too have experience the Caribbean life way back in the day when my dad opened a car dealer in St Croix. I loved the life there. The people were amazing and the beaches were my favorite. So I totally get what you mean. I also miss the food so much. 😋🏖️🌊
Wow! That’s an awesome addition to your collection! It’s going to look fantastic when it settles in 🙌🏾 That ‘floppy’ Dendrobium tip could be too much calcium nitrate..the only reason why I know is because I just literally dealt with the same thing and I couldn’t imagine why they looked a little leggy if you will at just the tips. It could also not be the reason too. But hopefully that helps 😁 As always, thanks for taking us along with you!!!! 🌺🪴🙌🏾 Take care Nelson
Hmmmmm calcium nitrate? I had another viewer tell me it’s due to lack of calcium. lol! The two polar opposites. I did just do a major feeding and added sea kelp for strength and Cal-Mag for the crazy heat. This is the first time and it’s happening in a very hot summer. Let’s see what happens as it gets slightly cooler. Thanks for the tip. 👍🏼
@@naturenel they can also be correct. Because that would have been my second guess. Calcium and calcium nitrate are two different nutrients. My fertilizer is mixed in two parts so I can control the calcium nitrate and well you guessed it, I got carried away at the beginning of the season and was really socking it to them.
Hi Nelson is a beautiful orchid, I have one which is blooming right now and is huge, I which I can sent you a picture so you can see it but I don’t know how to send pictures on instagram. Thank you for all your videos you sure are a very sweet guy.
Although not an orchid hobbyist, I really enjoy every video you put out. Would like to have you take us on a visit to see your aquarium set up and guppies. Love to see the kitties having fun!
Hi Nelson! Thank you so very much for the thank you! You are too sweet! What you and Luiz have done to the ranch - it is stunning! Like a park where you would charge admission! Love the videos, the longer the better. Also would love to see more kitty & guppy action. Sending love from the Green Mountain state!🥰🌿
Hello Vancouver! You are very welcome And thank you so much for your great contribution. Very much appreciated. I’ll be showing the guppy room very soon. Thanks for the request. 💚🙏🏼🤗
Hi Nel! I love Mimi Palmer! I have a tessellata currently working on a spike, very excited for it. Thank you for your videos, would love to see a feature on the catesetum corner at some point if possible. :)
Lovely gift thanks for sharing. Orchids are beautiful as always. I also notice that 2 of my dens leaves are floppy too,i guess i will just ignore it. Blessings
Hi Nelson I hope my comment helps you but it's a thought 🤔 that with the weather you were talking about is perfect for massive Dend. Growth!! So my suggestion is to feed them heavily with Calmag and the seakelp with a dash of Epson salts in-between your normal feeding it will make a huge difference for you and strengthen the plants growth. Great video and I love your extensive collection, it's amazing 🎉!!
I live in the Caribbean and l have the same problem with some of my dendrobiums l believe the droopy leaves is a result of the heat l give my orchids calcium on a weekly basis along with the usual fertilizer l firmly believe the heat is the cause l also get this on some of my cattleyas
No te se decir porque no tengo la orquídea físicamente con migo. Puede ser un insecto “Thrips”. Cuando le salgan los botones, antes que habrán, echale un producto llamado SEVIN. Se vende en Home Depot o Lowe’s.
Do you have any issues with venomous or poisonous critters getting in and around your plants that you need to watch out for? Do the cats try to eat or knock over your plants?
No and no. Although I live very close to the Florida Everglades, it is extremely rare to find any poisonous critters around my area. The cats don’t really bother the plants cause they have so much to play with. They love climbing up the crop trees. They do take care of rats and iguanas. 🦎
Try Burnham nurseries, Lawrence Hobbs and orchid Botanics. I also find the German nurseries are still sending to the UK with no extra cost than pre brexit. Not sure how long that will last though. I feel customs on both sides are just ignoring the whole silly debacle…
Absolutely gorgeous. What a special gift. Enjoy it. Thank you for sharing.

Nelson,yo tengo una pregunta,mis catleyas

I have a couple of dendrobiums that have floppy leaves. I thought it was from a lack of water, but now I'm not sure.
@@elizabethdavis4202 Definitely not a lack of water in my greenhouse. As you saw how humid and wet it’s been. This is a first for me.
@@naturenel that would be why I rotted one of them 😢
It can't be poor lighting either. Time fir more research 🙄

Since the UK left the EU good orchids are hard to get 😢
