Same here, don’t get me wrong there has been some awesome looking over weathered models, but sometimes there are such things as too much. That’s what I like about early to mid era Chessie, most of their equipment was fairly clean on top like these. Any time you see a dirt Chessie usually is in the CSX era. Thanks for watching!
@@4everdc302 honestly looking at photos of them, most Chessie caboose were kept up with most getting repainted. Now most of the photos I’ve seen could be edited for better appearance and I just can’t tell the difference sometimes. Thanks for watching!
I got two that I plan to leave basically fresh cause the paint scheme would have been fresh out of the shop according to the dates on the boxes. Sometimes if forget how many I have myself! Thanks for watching!
They want you to buy more storage. If you ever get tired of your brass you can just send them to me haha. When you use powders do you seal it after each layer or wait until the end or not at all?
Who apple? If that’s the case that’s some B.S. I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of my cabooses, hence the reason why I model the late 70s B&O/Chessie, lots of different verity of power and cabooses. Normally with weathering I would weather until I’m satisfied then I would seal them. Unfortunately I couldn’t find any sealant at the time, but I’ve discovered that after your satisfied with your project and don’t touch it for a while, it’ll eventually just stick to the model, not always though. Thanks for watching!
I have not, was not aware of such thing. I mostly just look a number close enough around the era I model and do just a little bit different since each model would look different.
Beautiful cabooses, Kyle. Excellent details. Cool weathering. 😎👍🏼
Thank you Drew, I’ve seen only one other brass wagon top come up for sale but I wasn’t crazy about the weathering done on it. Thanks for watching!
I think this is a level of weathering I can get behind. Thanks for the series of videos. Mike

Real good, Kyle. I saw a lot of Chessie as a kid. They weren't torn up. Might put a super light whitewash on the yellow for fade🚂🇨🇦🇺🇲🙋
