Thank you for this lesson. I have a couple of questions - I’m a novice trying to learn strictly off of youtube since there are no classes available right now. it seems like the castenents don’t move much when people play but for me they seem to move around. what is the correct way to hold? Thank you.

Hi Perizad, I hold them in front of my body, arms curved, thumbs facing up, fingers relaxed and curved, shoulders down and relaxed. Flamenco dancers will usually move their arms when they play, but most seem to keep the shape of the hands. I hope that helps - and good luck!

Hi Zinga, That's a tricky question :). If you can already play the castanets, maybe a month of regular, patient practice?
      Good luck!
