I was so happy to see you while entering the Jetwing room and the way you experienced its amenities after a hard bicycling in the hot sun from Mannar to Jaffna. You guys shown your generation to inspire your hardship and endurance to reach your goal as an exemplary way. Thank you and way to go on passionate tour around our Nation Island.🙏🎉
Hi...its nice to see a guys like you all cycling. Be careful when you are walking into new unknown areas hope those parts are cleared of mines. Keep in mind during those war days before 2005 we used to cycle similar distance using the old bicycles. At times the SL army used to harass us....Anyway keep cycling..
@@Sheneller Haha right, that is one of the aims for you to have done this trip! I thought maybe for foreigners things can be a bit difficult to navigate as opposed to you know the language, culture etc. Sri Lanka, I am coming sooooon
Great work you guys, really enjoyed it, no place like Sri Lanka. If only we had the right ppl in the right places that can convert the resources we have to be the mighty tourist hotspot we can be.
I enjoyed this particular one, and watched it till the very end. I wish I could say the same thing about the other videos in the series. Most of the previous ones, I found that I zoned out in 2-3 minutes, and moved on. While I completely recognize the fact that commenting sitting on a couch is far easier than biking in scorching heat (not to forget the humidity which I suspect is extremely high), I felt the urge to make this comment. Take it with a grain of salt, and see if it makes sense to you and to your audience. - One of the things I find is completely lacking (or lacking to a large extent) in your videos is interaction with locals. Most of your content is delivered from *your* perspective, and while that's fine & important, I think what tends to add value to travel vlogs is when you actually hear things from the horse's mouths. - Editing could use a bit of improvement. For instance, I thought the NGO clip in the middle ended rather abruptly. And if one wanted to make a donation, where should they go? There's a fair number of links in the Description but it was one too many. I wanted to make a donation to that small, hardworking entrepreneur but I gave up after not finding a simple, straightforward link that I could just click. - Drone shots are good but they have to be used sparingly (I think). The problem I've noticed with drones is that they are double-edged swords. They tend to make all things pretty, and tends to put the doubt in one's mind as to what is actually truly pretty vs what's simply beautiful because of the angles it provides. Plus, sometimes you need a 1K foot view of things as opposed to a 30K foot of things (if you know what I mean). - This is going to be a tricky comment. Sri Lanka has a turbulent past, and there's no hiding that but I am sure it has wonderful people as well who I want to believe want to peacefully co-exist. Not touching upon the repercussions and learnings from the last 3 decades of Sri Lanka is taking away from what the country is probably what it is all about, in my opinion. I am sure there's a fine line you can't or don't want to cross here but it's a challenge you may want to take up. It will make a passionate difference to your content, I think. - There's a story that's lacking here. Traveling through an entire country on a bike is a super cool proposition (regardless of the smallish size of a nation). And you ought to be able to leverage that better, and how you connect the dots in your travels has to be more than what seems to come across. And remember that the cultural changes you experience may be too subtle sometimes to capture on camera but a slight bit of exaggeration may in fact be needed, sometimes. - Food: This is something that goes hand and glove with travel so why not dig a bit deeper and help us learn the land a bit more gastronomically? - Humor: What's life without a bit of humor. While this may or may not come naturally to everyone, and not all of us are born with a funny bone, I think the content needs to feel a bit lighter. Most times, it comes across extremely serious. All said and done, it's commendable that you are able to do this. I can feel the heat and humidity through my screen literally, and isn't something I could personally pull off, ever. So, kudos to both of you. And remember, it is important to finish what we start in life, and that makes ALL the difference. So, no matter how exhausted you are, and how much hotter Sri Lanka gets, I sure hope you will complete your journey. And I am pretty certain you will! Best wishes from the other side of the world!
Thanks a lot Krish for the extremely detailed feedback given. Definitely agree on everything you have mentioned. Unlike the rest of our vlogs where we have plenty of time to plan the storyline of each video. On this series it is just the 2 of us cycling from place to place with nothing but our bikes and three bags with all our equipment and a schedule to follow. As much as in hindsight we realise there are many areas we should have focused on and captured more of. the physical and mental challenge of cycling, conceptualizing filming & editing for 43 days in a row was far more challenging than we anticipated it to be. As such we have to changed our style of editing for this series to make do with very limited footage & time we have to work with for each vlog. Will definitely pay more attention to the editing process as we publish the rest of the series. As you may know already we love to push the boundaries of our capabilities. We are continuosly learning and growing from each experience we have. and we really appreciate folks like you who support us through this journey. Shenelle & Shehaan

Hi, am a fan of your video, but you should show more landscape and be less selfish. You got a decreasing view from your previous vlog. Need to find some reason no? So less selfish and less snobbism from your partner (male). It's positive criticism.
Thanks for your constructive feedback. If by selfish you mean you’d prefer less first person talking. We understand your point and thank you for letting us know. This series is a lot different to our usual videos. It is just Shehaan and I cycling, filming and editing everything, so we are going with the format that best allows us to do that. Quite a lot of trial and error. 😁
I am looking from overseas, and what I want is to watch the landscape of Sri Lanka and its people. This is only my point of view but the majority of the viewer think also. You can take some ideas from Ushuaïa, le magazine de l'extrême You guys need to be more integrated into the landscape. Sorry if those recommendations come too much

Try a Go Pro Max for your filming. Then those that want to see the scenery while listening to the narrative can pan away. Superb content in general.
