This box has over $500 in value according to Decor Steals. We learned that since you aren’t stuck in a subscription that auto-renews, that means they can change the price at any time, which they did, it went up by $25 from summer 2021 to now. And we have also learned they can combine seasons, so there isn’t a Spring & a Summer box, there is just the Spring/Summer 2022 box. They do have an Add-Ons shop for members only and although these products ship separately, shipping is only $5 which is pretty cool.

They must be smoking some good stuff to come up with those prices! This box is totally disappointing except for the bunny pictures which would go good with the “murder” bunny print from Decocrated! 😂😂
Okay, I was thinking that’s a boot tray. I’ve actually wanted a boot tray for a bit and I was also thinking it would be good for plants that have a watering hole. So definitely useful.

My box came today and it is a really good box. I think anyone who ordered it will be very happy
I ordered their 1st box for 99.00, and loved everything! Then increase their boxes to 125.00 and I never order another box. I can get a lot at Hobby Lobby for $125.00.. stuff I actually want and like!
I think they did that because it was their first box and they wanted to get an idea on interest. That was the only time they raised their prices though. All of their last three boxes have stayed at the same price and are definitely worth every penny in my opinion!

I got my box and loved every item! My items were in great condition. My favorite is definitely the stool and reversible bunny prints! The stool alone is $88 at Serena and Lily! I'm so glad I didn't buy that crazy high-priced item and got the Steal It Box instead with soo many other items that are way more expensive when bought individually!
Looks like the box they gave you was not the final product because what I received was nicer including the bunny print which is dual sided and faux leather straps
Yeah, I just saw another reveal and they showed the pics being reversible as well as how to flip the pillowcase so it is reversible.

Haha, you did a great job evaluating! Enjoyed what you had to say! It is more fun to go to Home Goods and pick out your own stuff! I down sized with an empty nest and it kills you parting ways with all that decorative "stuff". Best to keep it simple. Only buy what really brings you joy and is quality.

As soon as I saw that black tray I thought of a boot tray or shoe tray next to a door. I LOVE the bunny pictures. The stool would make a good plant stand. I hate the plant. Its crazy how they value these items. Thanks for sharing this box.
My bunny prints were reversible and had a print for all year round on the back side.

I was laughing along with you, loved your video and honest feedback on the box! Couldn’t agree more. Side note - I have a boot tray (similar in appearance to that, but a bit smaller) BUT mine is rubber. Still pretty, but durable and easy to be wiped down… Amazon for the win.
I saw another blogger comment how their last boot tray cost them $80! I was so shocked to get this HEAVY metal boot tray in my Steal It Box, along with so many other items for their price! I also LOVED how the boot tray had such an ornate embossed design on it! Super unique and so cute!! I'm currently using it as a tray for a centerpiece on my dining table, but will probably fill it with TONS of snacks for parties!

I have ordered from Decor Steals and have loved what I've ordered. I have never gotten the box because I am more of a price point of decocrated. I have not yet thought that I have missed out tremendously by not getting one of their boxes. I have liked a thing or 2 but not $100+ or 100%. I'll just keep ordering from the shop when I see something I don't want to live without. I soo appreciate your candor.

I would spray paint the candle sticks and the tray. After I spray paint the tray I would hang it on the wall or lean it against my fire place. I love the design inside!

The bunny prints are really nice!
I immediately thought the tray was a boot tray...which makes sense for spring. A place for rain boots etc. Or a cute tray to put plants in. I like the mixed candle sticks. I think it's a cute style to have some taper candles and some pillars mixed together.
Many thanks to Samantha for keeping it real. Disappointed in box for sure. I ordered last week and canceled today after watching multiple unboxing videos. I also feel like Decor Steals had a bit of a “bait and switch” going on - for at least a week we have seen teasers of this “huge” and “heavy” box with the beautiful floral design, valued at $500+. Then we see the contents and feel totally deflated. My positivity: it is NOT a recurring subscription box.

The long tray is a boot tray. I saw on another unboxing that the pictures were the bunny on one side and geometric matted black and white prints on the other side. They also had faux leather hangers. Hopefully that is what mine will be.
The boot box is great to place a grouping of house plants with other home decor items or outdoor pots. It also works great as a potting box, makes repotting your plants so much easier to keep in all the dirt, moss, rocks, etc. I really like the boot box.
The bunny pictures are the cutest things!
The large black tray could be a shoe tray at the front door!! Mine is similar but rubber from Ballard Designs.
I do love the bunny prints.
It is random but I like everything except that tree. The values are outrageous 😆

I ordered the box and have seen some pics on the site that gave me an idea of what was coming….the only thing that was a surprise to me was the candle sticks….and now that I think about it I did see them as well. It is kinda a random gathering of items! I do like the boot tray, stool, planter box, and bunny prints….I don’t know why the quality of candlesticks are so cheap because everything else they have sent that is metal is good quality ( pumpkin trivet-fall reindeer-winter) As I read the comments seems most of the negativity comes from the over evaluation….and some quality issues….I would think if you contact them stating you got a damaged item they would replace it. They should evaluate the value fairly. I have purchased all boxes since last summer and I have been happy with most all items….I also order from them regularly and have been happy with. the quality of the items I have received. I find the add on shop to be very overpriced compared to their other items…so,I do not see that as a perk. I’m on the fence with this one….I have been looking for a cute stool for plants and even Amazon’s, Wayfair, and many other stores price them high….I don’t think it’s worth $100 but I’m happy to have it! Honestly, if they would have said $250 in value and gave each item a more reasonable retail value, this would be really different. The 2 boxes before this were great, but the expectations were set better.

I was looking forward to this box and really love the bunnies and the stool. I thought the size of it and the colors of the box seemed great. But I’m really glad I waited to watch your video before I ordered it, because it looks like I’ll be saving my money this time. I like that thing a lot better as a boot tray.
It is a boot tray!! That's what it was originally made for and it's super expensive everywhere else. I was really excited about that

Take out the tree and candlesticks, then make the price point $75ish and it would be a great box. In my opinion.

I watched the official unboxing by Steal it Box. The pillow case is reversible if you turn it inside out and the bunny prints are supposed to be reversible too. There's a print on the back of the bunnies.
I wish I would have waited for your reveal to see if I wanted this box or not lol. The only thing I like is the stool but this box is definitely NOT have $500 worth of items in it 😂
I recommend selling whatever you don’t want in the home decor selling groups on Facebook.
I used to recommend decor steals to my friends, now even the daily steals are way overpriced. It’s really sad that a once affordable site that offered decent quality items got greedy and swapped out high price tags for low quality items.

I like the contents for the most part. Candlesticks are super cheap and agree with tree. I think the cost is pretty on point in comparison to other boxes for most part.. always have a couple items I don’t love. The fact that they are marketing it as $500 makes me roll my eyes tho! Not even close. The prices you listed gave me a chuckle.
Wow….just wow- I wasn’t sure what to think of the big tray either 😉. Thank you for sharing this box. In looking at everything at the end, I liked the items but don’t see the value they reflect for them either. IMO it wasn’t curated well and seemed like they looked around a room and just threw in pieces then added the bunny pix(liked those too) as a nod to spring. 🌸

Some boxes will have reversible prints… rabbit and a different print on the other side. You just got one sided prints. Look at Wendy Bentley’s unboxing. That tray is for shoes… rain boots etc.

Amen, I was thinking exactly what you have said when I was watching their spoiler!!! I have found the quality of most items in there boxes to be sub par. This one appears to take the cake! So happy I did not pre-order. There listed value for each item is anywhere from 5-10 X the actual value ( for a product or comparable quality which in this box appears very low grade).
The look on your face when you were trying to figure out the boot tray. You're cute. Every country person like me knows what a boot tray is. You also use it for shoes. You'd get scolded if you tracked in mud or manure from the farm or garden. Even dad, if he forgot. Great start, now I have to watch the rest of the video.

I would love to see you do a yard sale or goodwill decor haul! Maybe decorate your hearth with the items you find. This could be mixed with clippings from the side of the road! ;) It would be cool to see a more low-end concept using your eye for deals and quality.

I have ordered a handful of items from Decor Steals, and they’ve been amazing - great quality for a great price! But I have yet to see a Steal It Box that can anywhere near the quality of those items. Your honest reactions and reviews are part of why I adore you so much!! I’d order those bunny prints for maybe half the “retail value” and the boot tray price was very fair. But the rest? 😱

I order alot of home decor boxes. But I not gonna pay 125.00 for this . Sorry home steal box . Very bad nothing goes together. You can get all of that at marshalls for probably about 65.00

I really love the box although now living in Florida the boot tray would have too be repurposed. In PA though I would have loved it.

It is a boot tray; you come inside and take your shoes off and put them in the tray to protect the floor.

I can say the 2 boxes before this one were good, I gave them both thumbs up, just this box and the very 1 box were off.
Lol! I really enjoyed this video and i was laughing along with you. I totally agree that this box is definitely not a $500+ evaluation. The quality is just not there. There is a lot more i can say but i think the DS Winter 2021 Box is the only one so far that is even close to and worth the $124 price point.

I also got my box. However, my bunny prints are different. The ones I received have a neutral, geometric print on the back and have leather strap hangers on the top.
I’d use the tray as a boot tray in my mud room.
My mom has a shoe tray like that and loves it! I knew what it was when you first opened it but you confused me for a second when you said the girl in the picture used it as a decor tray lol
