    Hi, may i ask a some questions , did 24-hour visa. apply at the airport right? and do this policy apply to all countries or just some countries

      Hi! Yes that’s right-I applied for the 24-hour transit visa when i arrived at the airport in Shanghai :) I think it just applies to some countries, so definitely check the rules before you travel!
      thanks so much for watching

    I have soon such a layover too! Did you need to show them a hotel? Do you know if it is also possible to get the visa on the flight back (in my case from Bangkok to Germany)?

      that’s so exciting, hope you enjoy your travels! thanks for your question, i personally did not need to show them a hotel for my layover & 24-hour visa, i did see that there was an option in the layover form to specify if you had a hotel booked, but i would check if this is a requirement! the main thing they checked was that i had a following connecting flight to leave the country, and therefore meet the requirements of the time allowance for the 24-hour visa.
      In regards to your second question, I would recommend checking online for the requirements, as even for my journey the rules changed a few months before my flight which meant it was useful to stay up-to-date, plus it is different for different countries :) hope this helps, thank you for watching!!

    I have the same hours layover. How long before you had to be in the airport to catch the next flight ?

      hi :) i arrived about 3/4 hours before my next flight left to be safe, as i also needed to pick up my luggage in this particular journey (some journey check the luggage through, but mine wasn’t so i kept it in the airport luggage storage!)
      have a good trip, thanks for watching!

    Do you have to pick up your luggage if you are leaving the airport?

    • @magzzzzz
      @magzzzzz  7 месяцев назад +1

      it depends on the type of flight you have booked! for my journey, i ended up choosing a cheaper option which meant i needed to pick up my luggage and check it back in for my connecting flight, so I ended up keeping it in luggage storage. you can choose a journey which means your bags get “checked through” and usually this tends to be journeys where the 2 flights are with the same airline company :)

    Hi! Can you tell me, how much money you need to prepare?

      hiya! for this layover I had around £60 (~550 Chinese Yuan) which was spent on food, travel (the metro), luggage storage, and it didn’t end up all being spent, but ofc this was only a really short layover so it depends on all sorts of factors, but that’s an idea :) i would highly highly recommend bringing more than you think you need, just in case, and also bring CASH !! thanks sm for watching
