- In this video I challenged myself to make a 16x16 version of the LEGO Bookshop. I also added a park, two Monkie Kid buildings, a trash collection area, and a construction site to my LEGO City.

Thanks for watching
It's crazy how well you've shrunken those modulars while still maintaining some of the interior details. Nice work
Thanks!
Glad that you continue with the small builds, it is becoming a real city now with both sides. The park looks good and I like bench 1 because it let some light through.
Thanks! It's definitely coming together finally!
Bench 1 for sure!
This was such a fun video! Loved all the new areas you’ve added to the city!!! The use of sets from other lines is so much fun, and the shrunken Bookshop looks FANTASTIC!!! As far as the bench design goes, I think I prefer option 1! 😁
Thanks so much!!
Been waiting for a new update on your tiny city! Glad to see you’re continuing it! I think this is such a fun way to better your building skills and learn new techniques and I love the outcomes of all these shrunken down versions. Excited to see more of this!
Thanks! feels good to be back and working on it!
I love that you shrink the width and depth of the buildings, but keep a lot of the height... it looks fantastic!! 😊
thank you! That's mostly because i still want to use the door and window pieces - make a weird scale that kind of works
I am completely in love with your work
Thanks!
awesome city!! I love the smaller scale with out the loss of details
Thank you very much!
I always feel I get more than just 'lego' content from you Claire...most often, I come away having learned a little more about architecture and being someone who is a 'city builder wannabe' that is of great value to me. I also enjoy listening to your thought process and figuring out the constraints of your 'miniaturization' of LEGO modulars. Love the construction site too - construction vehicles and workers are my fave elements to have in a city so I was happy to see that become a thing and develop in your city.
Regarding the choice of benches, number 1 is my fave - I have a thing for 'stuff' made of iron and that one has a 'sturdy look' of a bench made from an wrought iron frame. Already looking forward to the next one 😃
Hey Greg! Thanks for the feeedback and glad you enjoyed the video :) Love wrought iron as well - most probably going with bench 1!
I love your city, and the park in particular is incredible! As far as benches go, I prefer the contrast of the black/brown combo, though both look good.
Thank you! The park is my current fave section
Still my favorite lego city to date, absolutely love the work and as always looking forward to more!
Thanks a ton!
I like this way better than the monster Lego cities. Much easier on the eyes!
thanks! easier on the budget too :0
Oh this is SO creative! This is my first time finding your channel, and I absolutely love what you’re doing here 🤩
Thank you so much!!
New subscriber because I actually *learn* from each of your videos. Thanks for sharing your thought process with each modular shrink and for teaching me some cool architectural terms/history. Great job!
Awesome, thank you! Welcome!
Honestly, I was thinking about your city just a day or two ago. I love it! So glad you posted :-)
Aw! Thanks for thinking of the city!
The tiny staircase in the bookshop is ADORABLE!!
so tiny - so cute
No way is Claire 38 😱 Loving the tiny city !
;)
Your city looks great!
Thank you!
Daily Bulge 🤣 Everything has shrunk! 😆Love it! 🤣
Thanks!
Cool idea and nice job. I'd recommend stacking the Daily Bugle sign so it's on two separate lines with the bugle in the middle. It could make a big improvement 👍👍
oh I like that idea! Thanks!
Nice to see this series continue! My vote is for bench type 1 and I also like that black border you added to the side. Is that done with SNOT bricks or technic bricks/pins?
Thanks! I did it with a combo of snot and technic bricks, pins, plates and tiles - it was a nice way of hiding the super colorful MILS plates below
That tiny taxi is still my favourite! Your City is looking amazing!
Mine too! Thanks!
New subscriber AMAZING VIDEO ❤
i love your videos! i like all of the different builds that you make especially in the city, what kind of tips would you give to someone who would want to shrink down other sets?
Glad you like them! I would chose a scale that you want to go down to and then just start playing with sets - some of the 3 in 1 houses are great places to start.
So cool 👌👌👌
:)
wow I absolutely love what you have been doing with this series! your builds are adorable and that park is amazing! those trees and plants just look perfect and i love how you incorporated the teal recycling truck! keep it up I can't wait to see where you take this next!!! (btw I think bench type 2 is too cute!)
Thank you so much! Really appreciate the feedback. The park and plants were my favorite part - I definitely spent too much time there :)
Yayyyy! You are back with the small Lego City! I love this, I like it more than a regular sized city. Love the park! I like both benches because they serve different purposes. What I would like to see? Maybe a museum would be a good building eventually?🤔 or maybe some Ninjago? IDK, but whatever you are doing I really enjoy it!
Keep em coming, I really enjoy your videos and how you explain what you do.
Thank you 🤗 Right now I'm really inspired by the Monkie Kid and Ninjago buildings - they are so neat!
Nice, are you planning on doing the assembly square next?
Maybe not next - but definitely at some point!
The Bookshop was my first modular You did an amazing job. Been following for some time now. SO IMPRESSED keep it up :)
Glad you like it! Thank you!

I didn't expect to learn about why every townhouse has a bay window but what do you know
You're welcome
5:39 How did you build those little green buschs? They look so good!
thanks! I used a couple rounded bricks, plant pieces and lots and lots of green flowers
Really cool!
Thanks!
yes lego
Man, I missed you. Bench 1 btw

Bench 1 looks more realistic

@@ThePlasticArchitect 👋 I am also Friendly Lego Fan 👍 🙂
Und ich verdoppel die meisten Modulars 😅🙈
Why does the small daily bugle say “daily bulge” 😭😭
check out the video for that building - it explains it :)
Ah sooooo your building a town not a city?
Hogwarts up next?
Ah! That would be a good one - maybe not next - but I'm sure ill do something harry potter soon
I also would accept God's plan by visiting/experiencing LEGOLAND in California and by helping/falling in love with the Single Younger Female Lego RUclipsr who do not have children yet in the future 🇺🇸 👍 🙂
I would like to see someday some tutorial for building such amazing trees, as you do!
Noted! I'll keep that in mind when I do more!
@@ThePlasticArchitect Thanks! Greetings from Poland!
