In this episode of What's In Your Garage we feature a beautifully restored 1966 Plymouth Barracuda. This car has been meticulously restored to better than original condition. The car is beautiful inside and out.
It took two donor cars to complete this restoration. The interior came from a single owner car who never had anyone else in her car so the passenger seat and back seat have never been used. The underside of the car is clean enough to eat off of while the engine has been completely re-done in true restoration style.
The original Plymouth Barracuda was the original American hatch back. The rear window was the largest window produced while the styling is very unique. This car is over the top cool. The owner is a very cool guy named Hans who moved here to America with his parents more than 60 years ago. He is very proud of this true American Muscle car legend.

My first car was a 1966 Plymouth Barracuda. I had the bucket seats just like yours. My engine was a 225 slant 6. Yep! I miss it now. Thank you for your video.

I recently over the last 2 years purchased a 66 barracuda, and got one 100% original, in great condition for being 52years old, I’m a local to AZ only 21. Where is a good shop that I can take my car to

Hey there OctopusGoochBoys, thank you for watching. Your car sounds like a perfect choice for a video. I drive a performance Mustang so I have a shop I use for my engine work. All my other stuff I do myself. There is a Mopar group, Mopar Outlaws that might be able to answer that question better. It also depends on what you need done and where you live. You might be able to locate Hans Zimmerman on Facebook. He is the owner and a very nice man. Good luck in your search. Get in touch so we can schedule a video shoot. ericsgarageaz@gmail.com. My son Chose a 1966 barracuda for his 1st car and he only had his G1. Tried to restore it. It's not running the same, but it ran high in the 1st place. She backfires now. It's a street car. Didn't have oil in her when arrived. They guy wanted to run her when he showed up at midnight. I said, my town is quiet. He laughed as he started it to get it ofthe trailor. In to my laneway. We have a blue one. The 1 in this vid, is the same colour of my 2002 intrepid/hit by a bmw dick driving drunk. Parked it an 5 mins later. Bamso glad he only hit my beautiful car. How I would like to race with this Barracuda.
