I just had the same issue, hence why I stumbled across your video. I resolved this by switching the TX and RX. Thanks to your video I got to the resolution as I had the reassurance from you that I was mostly wired correctly. Your video gave me the insight to try the library you were using due to the serial feedback.
it works very well without any problem.make sure your memory is fat 32 and the library whic you are using is important and you must put a delay after any track.
@@NickkoG I think he's asking what you used to format it and or what format you used on the SD card? It could have been that you formatted the card in windows as NTFS instead of FAT32 or exFAT format. Does the module require a specific format to work?

Finally, using sd card formater (not Windows format tool) it work.

I don't know, I just use the official "sd card formater" it's the name of the tool. Format you say are for the windows format tool only. Don't use it.

I think you need to have an pin switches in ad ADKEY and ground ... Or make it auto on repeat play by connect the ADKEY to ground...
