In it Dulac states (in my translation): 'A woman neglected by her husband heads out to a bar one evening as a distraction. She meets a naval officer. When he learns she has a child he suddenly ends their flirtation. A simple story that needs no intertitles. I have tried to communicate the idea through images. I hope the spectators will support my attempt.'
