The 770008 part is a kit. The LH steering arm on is 7301338BMYP and RH is 7301337BMYP. Unfortunately no one has this part or stocks it. Mine is bent. I’m going to have to straighten it and heat treat / harden and weld to reinforce it. If anyone has better ideas or still better the part, please let me know. Thank you!
I've not forgot you on my review of the 2019 just haven't had time to set down and do it
I just had to do this. When the mower was given to me the left steering arm was bent. I replaced it and now we just bent the right one. Problem is that when it bends it makes the metal softer and also it is nearly impossible to bend them to the original shape. They have discontinued the kit so I was able to find each part number and order them. I had ordered them in 2021 when I got the left steering arm and never got around to picking them up. I don’t remember specifics but I remember it being comical how cheap the parts were (probably like $20 total). Fast forward a year and a half, I just picked them up (just the 2 washers and the 2 covers) and the total was $80. What a crazy world we live in.
I’ll have to check with my supplier and see if he has any of them kits in stock. Jim

I had put the kit on about two years ago. It didn’t last. Steering is screwed up again. I haven’t had time to look into it. My son has had the mower for over a year and he gave it back to me. He did take it apart and tried to fix it.

I’m going to check into getting a different camera this weekend if it’s not out of my price range, thanks for bringing this to my attention. Jim
Look at a Go Pro or even a good web camera that can plug into a laptop. Also look at the Sony Action Cameras. Rumor is they are around $150.00. Most people use a modern cell phone turned sideways or horizontally. Google up lipstick cameras, small little guys. Ask what others are using for cameras here on YT.
@@jimjackson9381 do you have any videos of you changing the rack steering I hate to take it to shop if I can do it myself. This seems to be a problem with these mowers. They go bad about every 3 years. Thanks
I just installed this kit and a new wheel and a new king pin. My bearings score several gouges in the king pin, bearings were less than half a year old. I did just the left side. I took pictures of the NEW kingpin it has an extra brace , how can I send pictures. I have few tools and even less mechanical skill but I got this done because of your skills. OK now I found the video you’re watching. They no longer makes it a part. Maybe check with Parts Tree.Com and see if they have any in stock or call around to different dealers even in different states and see if they have any in stock if you Google snapper dealers. It should bring up a very large list of dealers around the country. Jim.

Yes, I raffle that off already and as far as I know they don’t make them anymore I would go online and Google Snapper dealers and start calling around and see if anyone has one in stock. Jim.
Called everywhere, the kit is unavailable. I looked up the pc part list and called for the pc parts as well and can’t find any. Do you have any suggestions? Will some other brand mower parts fit? I’m kinda stuck. Thank you!

And it is called a steering arm kit and that is from Briggs & Stratton. in Milwaukee Wisconsin or you can contact your nearest snapper dealer and they can get you one. This one with tax was $33.39
