KuruHS the games difficulty changes once you upgrade your car so the ai can have a fair race or close races with the stock gti the difficulty is the same for all black List racers

I may be ruining the joke but the IS300 is RWD, I used Junkman Tires with Ultimate ones to (mostly) avoid this issue.

The thing is rivals in this game adjust their difficulty to your car level, means if you are racing a horse cart, a lambo will be that slow
Thank god at least one here has a brain and understands the slingshot mechanic of the game. Would be funny if he tried that in the redux 2020 version of the game where catchup is disabled and cars like the Bugatti Chiron would blow him away with more than minute difference in time.

Cuz I could tell you some more about several files in game that impact the game experience than you would ever even expected the game to have. And if you actually think the effect isn't so strong, upload a vid with catch up turned off.

@@AmnesiaForever Alright, so you are saying I've never played the game and yet I'm the one of us both knowing how to edit that option out without using thirdparty software. But at least you know you can turn it off in quick races. That way you can practice for your vid where you try to beat the blacklist with a stock car after you installed a mod which disables the option for you in the main gameplay. ;)

A while back I went and beat every blacklist using the stock then all blacklist cars for each stage/member, was a lot of fun and yeah having to get all markers involved me picking the marker or turning the console off till I received the car. Thank goodness for guides nowadays that actually tell you the markers but really enjoyed this vid thanks!!
How do the markers work ?
@@thegamer6314 when you beat a black list member they let you chose a marker as a reward for winning, you can get money, a strike off the impound, junkman parts, or the pink slip to their car. And if you pick one find it's not the one you want and turn off the console or restart it before it saves you only have to do the last race again before it lets you choose the marker again.
Man it took me months as a child to defeat those opponents, especially Earl.

There's rubber banding they dont go faster than you. If you go intentionally slow then speed up at end of the race you get a basically guaranteed win

Only the blacklist members seem to follow this behavior but rubberbanding is when they slow down or speed up to match your pace
With #13, I dont touch nitrous and stay behind him whole race, then at the last couple stretches I gun it and get the win
The best racing games of all time. You can see this game from a child stand point and a adult stand point. 10 out of 10 from me
This game scales the difficulty based on which upgrades you have.
Vehicles still have minimum performances values and rubber banding only goes so far

@@isusnazaret349 The pinkslip for the blacklist cars is always under the same choice selection after the race. I used it on the PS4 to get all the Blacklist cars. I remember only one was in a different spot every time.

I finished the game with the Golf GTI.When it's tuned to the max it reaches 300+ km/h. Very fast,funny and extreme ride!
Finally, a worthy opponent! I beat them with a stock Fiat Punto but it needed some help with a shot of nitrous after #3. And after Razor i somehow had to do the final pursuit with it 😅

The cars are in a pattern, at least on the pc but ai think on consoles too, basically they move left once each time you race a blacklister, so basically you should be able to know the pattern after beating sonny, if you don’t get the pink slip, you know that it was in the remains marker and if going for your record instead of just practicing, then you can just try again and again and you have a 2/3 chance, from then on you know the pattern

I almost beat the entire Juiced game with the Honda CRX.
My game was bugged where RWD cars in the game actually cause the rear tires to turn....making them a nightmare to drive (like a forklift does) the fwd cars (CRX and minivan) were the only ones to have the front tires turn.

I managed to beat Razor with a stock Lancer after almost 2 hours of failed attempts ( The vid is on my channel ), also without glitches, just a heck of a lot of speedbreakers.. i will probably try it using a Lexus or the Cobalt too again when i get my new PC
Btw, the Razor Drag race is pure nightmare, if you don't abuse the speedbreaker then you will need to get lucky and see if Razor somehow mess up and crash

A month late, but here's your awnser: rubber banding ai. The NFS series had (or has, haven't really played the newer ones) a rubber banding ai. What that means is that the difficulty of the opponents gets easier or harder depending on how well (or how shit) you are doing. Since he's driving a shitty ass car and keeps losing, the ai adjusted to make the game super easy, making the oponents slower and all that. The oposite is what you usually get, when you are doing very well in the race, the ai gets more agressive and all of the sudden they go from 50mph to 110mph, get super aggresive and usually spawns more traffic.
Thats some clean racing right here.
