head down to your local bearing and bolt store, most sell seals take seal with you they maybe match it. or a hydraulic parts store. I never buy seals from genuine or parts stores and ive always got what i need and I fix all sort of stuff.
Hi just curious does this model have rings on the piston. I could not make it out. I’ve got one out of my sons car. And it has no rings. Same model. Thanks Errol
Question; after we finish do reassmbling the compressor, so no need to do the vacum to suck the air from the system right? Cause it will also suck the oil that we have put in it, right? Please answer this question, thank you in advance
Vacuuming only removes gases, not liquids. Oil does not turn into a gas, it stays as a liquid, so it will not be pulled out. Water, for example, will boil at high vacuum, and the steam or gas will then get sucked out. If you had a leak in the system, some oil may have leaked out and needs to be replaced. The a/c system still needs to be vacuumed out, no matter what. The air in the system is bad and can cause more problems than just making it cooler.
Great video and info!! Sir I have a 1991 Nissan 240SX that I am rebuilding well, the AC compressor don’t work anymore so I want to rebuild it instead of trying to buy a aftermarket one. What parts would you recommend me replacing and where could I find those parts? Thank you so much for all your help!!
@@pro2chiloxbut for 10PA 13C, it doesnt use any rubber set oring, it use a packing from slight plat metal. My question is; since it doesnt use any rubber, can I use gasoline to do cleaning with any fabric towel? Or just use any fabric towel like your tutorial with ni gasoline?
Thanks for pointing that out! compressor oil and refrigerant do not need to mix well. Their roles in the system are distinct. The oil primarily serves to lubricate the moving parts within the compressor itself, ensuring smooth operation and reducing wear and tear. It’s not intended to mix with the refrigerant. Instead, its job is to keep the compressor's mechanical components functioning efficiently. If the oil isn't mixing well with the refrigerant, that’s typically not a concern as they have distinct roles: Compressor Oil: Lubricates and cools the compressor's moving parts. Refrigerant: Transfers heat and facilitates the cooling process within the system. While some degree of miscibility between the oil and refrigerant can be beneficial to ensure proper oil return to the compressor, they don't need to fully mix. If in doubt, consulting a professional technician can help ensure everything is working as it should.
very thorough, very detailed, an most important, most def proper emphasizing cleanliness

That’s fake oil and it’ll not mixed well with refrigerant at all.
