Probably you found out by now, where this little bracket you showed at the beginning of the video belongs. It's the throttle pedal rest bracket to prevent the pedal from being pushed too far back. This bracket will fit on the pedal box. The split pin is there for holding a small piece of rubber to prevent rust being always in contact with the metal pedal arm.

When you fit that spring I was thinking it was supposed to go the other way up. Was fitting brakes last night but I’ve got one shoe the wrong way 😝
