I'm still enjoying mine after a couple weeks. I bought it based on this review and another on youtube. I want to mention that the bike has a quick release axle for the front wheel, which could be very handy if you have a flat tire and need to fit this in an Uber to get back home. I put about a hundred miles on my bike so far and I have not met a hill which I could not climb with just a bit of pedaling. I weigh 230 lb

That was a great review. One of the best I’ve watched. What a great looking bike. Everything I need in an e/bike. At 78 years old, I just what something comfortable doodling around my area. No hills to worry about. Just flat easy as you go peddling. I’ve always enjoyed riding a bike, but as I’m up in years, my knees don’t take well to a regular bike anymore. Oh, well, that’s life. Thank you so very much for a wonderful review. I’m going to check into purchasing two. By the way love your location.

Now you gotta compare this to a Townie Go. I’ve been eyeing the used market for one of those this summer…maybe next summer. Ha

Is it possible to alter the PAS speeds? This is my first eBike so maybe this applies to all eBikes. I had hoped for some slower speeds in the 6~8 mph range, but the lowest PAS level gives 11 mph, and the cruise control will only set at 11 mph at the lowest. I did some searching online and it seems this bike uses a G51 controller. The G51 manual shows an option under P05 for 9 PAS levels. I am afraid to try it though, and wondered if anyone else had? I wonder if the 9 PAS setting would include some slower speeds.

I meant to ask in a previous comment. Is the bike UL certified? Is there a sticker on the bike indicating that, or perhaps the battery itself? I’ve reached out to the manufacturer for that info, but waiting for a reply. There has been quite a bit of concern regarding bike battery fires. A UL certification addresses that. Much thanks. Oh, my wife wants to know where you are located. She loves the peaceful scenery. Thanks again.

I live at Indian Lake Ohio.
I gave the bike to my niece already, so as soon as I go to her house again, I will take a look and let you know. I should have an answer for you by the weekend. In the meantime, I will ask my contact at Actbest. That's a good question and I'll make sure I address it in future e-bike reviews. Thanks!

@@kelalamusic9258 I took a look at their webpage, and found this actbestbike.com/pages/actbest-core-ebike-faq
So it appears that they are indeed UL certified, but I will confirm with my own eyes as soon as I see my niece again.

Wellll...even though their website says that, I did swing by and look at the bike, and I saw no indication of any UL certification either on the bike or on the battery.
