I bought the GSJV91BSAE, and I can confirm this guide was excellent, and a fantastic help.
Incredibly useful
Glad it was helpful!

Does anyone know how to get behind the dispenser on this exact fridge freezer?
Is it okay to remove the doors and transport the refrigerator through stairs. This process will make it lighter and smaller for transit through stairs?
sure, no problem. Just be cautious when carrying it so components are not damaged (as well as your home of course:-))
Thank you 😍
You're welcome 😊
does it apply to this models: GSXV90MCAE and GSXV91MCAE ?
My doors are 690mm wide and those fridges are 735mm deep with doors.
If doors are removable, what is actual depth without doors?
Yes this does apply, with possibly some minor shape differences.
Depth without doors is 620 mm.
My mum ordered one of these and I've removed the doors to try to make it lighter to lift into the house but I think this model is different and I'm just wondering.
Why were there 2 tubes (one blue and one white) on the back of my fridge and why were there no wires on the right side of my fridge's roof?
Wires are only for electronic components, so if your fridge's doors do not include e.g. a display, it's simply not needed. And the blue and white tubes are for water and ice connections.
@@LGSAE Thanks
Is it possible to disassemble the lower hinges?
Yes that is possible, by placing the refrigerator in an angle of roughly 45 degrees to the back and then unmounting the bolts. However, is there a specific reason you want to do this?
@@LGSAE Thanks for the answer. my door gap is only 68cm wide and I have to loosen the hinges both below and above. but if that works, that helps :-)
@@FuzzyHead I figured it was for transportation, good luck
@@LGSAE all other doors in our house has 80cm and wider. Only our kitchen has 68cm. The model LG GSJ 461 DIDV has 61cm without hinges. That's what the manual said. :-)
Hi would this be the same for a Thinq LG GSLV71PZTF. Thanks
quite similar, yes. There could be a design difference, depending on the exact model but the procedure is similar. Do always consult your owner's manual before starting the procedure.
The exact one I've just ordered, how have you found it?
I'm glad I found this because I've been worrying I'd have to take off the kitchen door trim (needs replacing/repair anyway so i wasn't too upset about it) but this will make things much easier.
Why is it always the kitchen door that seems to be the narrowest one.
Hi I’m replying off of a different username. It was very easy to do. Only took 5 minutes or so. On the back of the fridge there’s a tube that needs removing that fills the water on the dispenser. Just take your time and it will all work out
@@Dan29morgan thanks for the reply, I actually ended up going with the model that has an extra door, and it was incredibly easy to take off the main doors to get it through my internal doorways. Much easier than I anticipated actually.
It would have been close to fitting through with the GSLV71, but the GSJV91 is slightly more deep so I definitely had to remove them and I'm glad I did because it gave me a chance to actually see how well put together and designed it is, it's not a cheap item that's for sure, so a bit of reassurance goes a long way.
ok very good job mexico
You are welcome.

Can't you take them out by pulling them a bit, like shown here: ruclips.net/video/0ghnwc85dQo/видео.html
