Last week we traveller through Nicaragua. In this episode we enter and spend our first 10 days in the very anticipated Costa Rica! We heard so much good things Costa Rica that we even started to wonder if reality would match our now built up expectations. Would we find amazing beaches everywhere as everyone said? Would there be a lot of wildlife?
A LOT happens in this episode, so much it was even difficult to select what to show what not, but we hope you love watching it as much as we enjoyed living it. But we are staying several weeks in the country so more is coming!

My best friend is from Costa Rica. A few years ago, I took her my homeland in Wyoming for the total solar eclipse. In return, she is going to take me to her homeland in Costa Rica. Can't wait.

Costa Rica is amazing. Definitely one of my favorite countries. I love all the wildlife, and all of the tropical beaches are so nice. Your videos are always the best and you show us things that nobody else shows. You get into the heart of each country. Loved it and thanks again! 👍🏻👍🏻🙏🏻

Nic, Mathilde, talking of wildlife, I spent the last 10 days surrounded by one of the most amazing and iconic bird in the world, that you will relate to, albatross. They are incredibly tame, not afraid of humans, walking next to you without any fear. Majestic in the sky, but quite clumsy on land. The easiest place to see them is the north coast of the island of Kauai (Hawaii). They nest in residential areas in Princeville between November and May. If you have chance, a truly amazing experience.
Wow that s fascinating Tristan we would love to see them on the way and maybe take a picture with the car one day hahaha we shall start looking where to find them because Hawaii is a bit off course
Really fun one - Coasta Rica, IMO, is the most beautiful of all of these Central American countries you've been visiting.
It is really gorgeous for wildlife and beach and it has been super realaxing

Costa Rica is beautiful. The wildlife was very cool. I think I could skip Nicaragua, but Costa Rica is special.

Albatross looks great! Im sure it feels good for you to have a good clean. From what my husband says at least in his experience as a tico it is very normal to pay for someone to help you. You gave those guys who were stuck a big gift by helping for free. Im glad costa rica has been smooth so far. Cant wait to see where you go next week.

Awesome video as always Nick and Matilda. Albatross getting detailed it looked mint. Looks like it needed to be put behind glass to keep it looking mint. But y'all need him to take y'all around the world. The Land Rover defender that the swedish couples has was so awesome but albatross can go head to head with any other Land Rover defender and come out on top no matter what.

Be careful of that knee! I once had a female student who injured her knee and reinjured it again. She was on crutches for half a year. She did it skiing. .

While in Costa Rica, it would be great if you would go to the Nicoya area where many people live to over 100 years. It's one of the five blue zones of the world.
Interesting we ve heard of it. That entire week was filmed on the Nicoya peninsula a gorgeous place. We will research more thanks for the info

I am wondering if you two will visit the Carribean side? I lived there for a few years in the early 2000's in Puerto Viejo. Would love to see how it has changed. There was good snorkeling at Punta Uva back then
We did! But not very long. We did spend a night in Punta UVA and it was amazing s tried to go snorkling from the beach but the ocean was very very strong current so it was not very successful.
Full of adventure! So the crocs aren’t near the beaches? You will love the thousands of coastline around Oz for surfing. The northern hemisphere has crocs part of the way down the Queensland coast; and the Top End has lots. In WestAus you have to be more mindful of huge sharks! It would be a good idea to put up a drone (where permitted) before entering the water. How long have you set aside to be in Oz? Cheers 👍🏻🙏🦘

The beaches looked super nice and warm. Crazy color crab. Are you going to be able to get the part for the charging system? The drone footage on that ridge was really cool also.

Theres nothing bad o say about Costa Rica, but, maybe a tad expensive, but , this is the price you pay, for security, great pepole.
Yes it s true and also in some area all the accesses to nature are paying but maybe that s the price of protection ?
