I love this anime. It saved my life. There was a time when i had zero motivation & my life was pointless, I was going on a dark path. One weekend I watched this Masterpiece of an anime and It was so profoundly good In a way it changed me, it gave me a *Raison D'être* . And A new meaning to life. It changed the way I saw the world and people around me. Just a hint of optimism was all I needed and Ergo Proxy gave me that. Thanks Manglobe. And thank you OP for making this :)

Bruh I’m pissed cause when I was younger, I used to love EP. I tried to watch it again earlier this year and I kept getting bored and disinterested. I wish I could say it was my favorite anime again but it got curb stomped by Noragami, who later got bodyslammed by Made in Abyss.
When a friend intoduced me to this anime, i felt addicted first 2 minutes in. The vibe, the music, the characters was so flirting and inspiring. I binge on it and watched it in a whole day, skipping my night time sleep. In the end, you left with more questions than answers but with a smile in your face. Such a unique feeling. Never had it with any other series or movie or anime. It's a 10/10, recommending everyone to give it a try at least!
@@pita8418 its set in a post-apocalyptic world where robots work alongside humans, these robots get affected by a virus that makes them sentient and gets them to acquire an 'ego', a "monster" wreaks havoc in the city.. if i say anything more i'll be giving spoilers. Also, there is not only sci-fi, but a dash of romance, comedy and lots of mystery and philosophy. Its just beautiful
yea ergo proxy is very "reserved" in it's storytelling, but it does an amazing job with it's atmosphere and vibe, making everything feel extremely mysterious and gripping. It's a very obscure and unique show. Definitely not for those who don't wanna think lol. It almost feels like the show is trying too hard to be philosophical and deep sometimes with how it presents it's messages, but the story is really cool once you take your limitless pills to unlock your full brain power to understand it lol.
I just finished the anime minutes ago after binge-watching it last night. This video and the lovely comments made me watch it and, oh boy, did it amaze me. Such a wonderful anime, it gave me another meaning about my journey here. A 10/10 for this anime.

i get the vibes that im just watching the world pass by my eyes and seeing everything beautiful along side, the Ocean waves sparkling and crashing up against the beach at night, or watching a black wolf chasing after a deer at night and swiftly moving through the woods.
I was never able to sink my teeth into Ergo Proxy… butthe vibe, atmosphere, OST, HOOKED ME as a kid! It holds a special place for me, despite never making it past a few episodes
it's a show that requires you to deeply think, not just about the messages, but to even figure out wtf is happening lol, plus it can get a little obtuse and pretentious at times. I can certainly see how it's not for everyone. Not everyone wants to solve the Da Vinci code just to understand an episode.

When I was depressed and thinking deeply about consciousness, I found this anime which helped me understand a method of how consciousness might have spread (not mentioned at all by the anime, its a theory i came up watching and trying to understand the plot). It's not the best anime by any means, definitely not for everyone and a few too many episodes seemed stupid/pointless, but to me the show was amazing.

Did you watch it all? If you liked it I would recommend going for ghost in the shell, psycho pass, Serial experiments Lain, evangelion,Akira, steins gate, texhnolyze. Any of these are good picks, some are heavier some are lighter but in general give that sci fi philosophy vibe

However, a strange series of murders start happening and inspector Re-L Mayer takes over the whole case. Of course there is more to the story but I'm not rlly able to explain without spoiling so I just recommend u to watch it:D there are 23 episodes and if u can't find a site where to watch it, I recommend animetaketv~

I watched ergo proxy because I found this edit, and loved the art style, and it left me wanting to know more about the anime. it's now one of my favorite animes of all time!! i'm even planning on designing a tattoo inspired by it for myself at some point. 😁

Two years ago I met a boy and I fell in love but I didn't notice back then how obvious he wanted to have something yk with me so we kept texting and meeting and stuff but we never did anything. A month ago, our parents wanted to barbeque at my family's place. He was coming too. At first we ignored eachother but then we went to my room so our parents could talk abt their shit and he was touching me in places and actually I was enjoying it, but then he wanted to undress me and I was like no so we stopped and cuddled but after 5mins maximum he just left my room with no context. I am pretty insecure abt my body bec I'm not super skinny, not overweight but also not in my dream body so yeah. We texted after that and he made it clear that I didn't do anything wrong but he didn't say why he left either. Next week I have to go to Italy with him and his family and my family too. Him and I texted and basically he said he would like to do yk stuff with me because he has an own room, I said I didn't want to fvck but I'm pretty much open to do anything else. All people are different but if you haven’t already, make sure you guys have an actual connection and that you being with him feels right. You don’t want him to use you just for pleasure so be aware that might be why he’s acting like that. But if you feel you guys actually have something that’s good, still doesn’t mean you have to do anything sexual with him. You can if you want it’s your call tho :) And if he ever tries anything without your consent please get away from him and tell someone you trust! I was super insecure about my body when I was 13-15. I was very skinny and tall. I was ashamed going outside because of that. Makeup didn't fit me and I only had childish clothes. I watched ergo proxy because I found this edit, and loved the art style, and it left me wanting to know more about the anime. it's now one of my favorite animes of all time!! i'm even planning on designing a tattoo inspired by it for myself at some point. 😁

i recommend EP/ergo proxy to everyone i know because it’s SUCH an interesting story like the beginning ur trynna figure out what’s going on but once you get it.. oh lord.. best anime best story. i love vincent law SM my mans really saved me from thinking someone deserved me. but when i saw the way he loved re-L UGH i deserve SM more bro.. so anyway this anime is more like a “you need to think harder and go deeper in the meaning. i won’t let you get it to put the puzzles together” like i was the type of person sees stuff and putted a label without using my brain right never ever going deeper to find the reasoning. and why.. these days we don’t realize it but we can know the prize of everything but never the VALUE. and that’s how this anime helped me, it made me open my eyes to WHY and HOW. question things because u might find something you’ve been needin to know.

I relate to this a lot and because it is almost 4am and I can't really trust the people I know irl, I'm gonna share this whole bullshit story on here.
Two years ago I met a boy and I fell in love but I didn't notice back then how obvious he wanted to have something yk with me so we kept texting and meeting and stuff but we never did anything.
A month ago, our parents wanted to barbeque at my family's place. He was coming too. At first we ignored eachother but then we went to my room so our parents could talk abt their shit and he was touching me in places and actually I was enjoying it, but then he wanted to undress me and I was like no so we stopped and cuddled but after 5mins maximum he just left my room with no context.
I am pretty insecure abt my body bec I'm not super skinny, not overweight but also not in my dream body so yeah. We texted after that and he made it clear that I didn't do anything wrong but he didn't say why he left either.
Next week I have to go to Italy with him and his family and my family too.
Him and I texted and basically he said he would like to do yk stuff with me because he has an own room, I said I didn't want to fvck but I'm pretty much open to do anything else.
Now I'm scared that he'll hate my body or something just because.
I'm so goddamn scared please anyone help.
I'm still pretty attached to him and I do like him.
That's kinda the only way I can actually somehow come close to him cus he ignores any attempts of mine to be friends.

All people are different but if you haven’t already, make sure you guys have an actual connection and that you being with him feels right. You don’t want him to use you just for pleasure so be aware that might be why he’s acting like that. But if you feel you guys actually have something that’s good, still doesn’t mean you have to do anything sexual with him. You can if you want it’s your call tho :) And if he ever tries anything without your consent please get away from him and tell someone you trust! And make sure your heart and mind feels right because as an example I have liked guys that were kinda toxic but once my mind was like, “hey they’re not good for you” I just ghosted them and I felt a lot better. I was super insecure about my body when I was 13-15. I was very skinny and tall. I was ashamed going outside because of that. Makeup didn't fit me and I only had childish clothes. I felt so uncomfortable I cried every night. Even in school. I didn't even have friends irl to tell them. But now I am 17 and more in love with my body. I am happy to be me. I gained a decend weight and I'm now proud to be tall because not everyone can rock those long legs.
I hope you're alright, whatever you're going through. I'm just a random girl on the internet, but I want to listen to others and try to give them strength. You deserve all the love in the world. xx
