I don't understand the problem. I've seen younger teenage cheerleaders do worse than this. Maybe its because how their bodies are built that brings them negative attention. When you got curves its more effective than when you don't.

They utilized the whole floor, they had a variety of outfits, they danced at different levels, the added that solo, gave us some fun with DDP and threw in some excellent acro, and all staying true to the southern majorette soulful style of dance that is so refreshing and unique to them. Like you said, KILLED IT!!!!

Everyone focused on the wrong damn thing. The Routine was Amazing! End of story. The uniforms are Cute, It's a majorette squad and that's what majority of majorette squads wear across the Nation. So stop ✋... The dancing dolls have plenty of Gorgeous uniforms and this is just one of them
I agree they are cute: these black uniforms as well as the white uniforms with the fringes are my favorites. And the girls look nice in them. You're right this is a majorette squad......I have seen dance teams wear alot less that this. Even sometimes on Dance Moms or Dancing With The Stars.

For the people on here screaming, 'Why did they win, this wasn't clean?'. The dancing dolls used many elements in their creative dance. They used chairs, their dance was split into groups with one group wearing a contrasting color uniform, and they used the Dancing Doll Parents. You have to utilize everything to the music to make it effective. Yes the YTDC did splits and stunts and whatnot, but they were just dancing to the music instead of dancing to make their show effective. Judging is split into different categories and the weight of each category is different from others meaning one category is more important than the other. Dianna knows what she has to do to pull out a win and she did just that. Stop hating, go read a book, go watch Dance Moms if you have to, but you're definitely going to stop dissing those Dancing Dolls today!

Ok? What was creative about this dance? The chairs? The parents were off beat. I was there live for this. The other teams used the moms too, and the moms on those teams danced better. The DD did good, but I feel like they shouldn't have won. Just my opinion.

As a kid/ teen I use to dance...getting a group to dance as one is no easy task. These girls are talented and must share a great bond.

It's MAJORETTE dance. They're technique doesn't have to be as precise as ballet or jazz or anything like that. These girls are following in the footsteps of The Jackson State Majorettes. They're the type of dance team that you see at half time shows during college football games , the type that do parades and many other things. Majorette is a completely different genre from all of these other dance types that you're naming. If you don't know the details and where these girls and their style of dance comes from, you shouldn't comment at all. If it was so nasty looking, why have almost every single one of them have a scholarship? 😐

What's Beyoncé known for ? Moving in sultry, sassy, and sophisticated ways and her dance moves aren't too far from this routine. So, if you idiots would learn to read and watch the show before making comments , you'd see how much work they put in to this routine. Quick question though : If your daughter was on this team and you read comments like these, how would you and your daughter feel? 🐸☕

Being "raceies"? what does that mean?
I think what Dianna is doing with these girls is amazing. She is showing them things that they have never experienced before, and would not be exposed to otherwise. She is teaching them self-respect, and how to be confident in their abilities, as well as how too shine in a public setting. She is teaching them not to quit. Those of you that are complaining about their technique, their uniforms need to think of something that you could do better with a group of ladies from the same background that these girls have and implement it. Until then shut up and do what you think would be better with your group. I doubt if you do anything though, because all you like to do is sit up and watch others and criticize. Don't be part of the problem, be part of the solution. I congratulate Dianna for what she does with the girls...TIME AND COMMITMENT !!!
There are several things I like about this show Bring it, but the one that I do appreciate is that the show subtly gives a "shout out" to Tougaloo College, a small, private HBCU founded in 1869 and located in Jackson, MS.

ALDC did not get to use real music until Season 2, if I'm not mistaken. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
That's because Abby only uses songs that lifetime have copyrights too . The first episodes of dance moms they didn't use the real music .

Dance Mom's has only paid the copyright fee to use real music once and that is when they used Chandelier in the 4.5 finale. Everything else has just been a good knockoff version.

I believe this is it. Dance teams don't usually use the actual artist and usually use covers or spin offs due to copyright reasons, but similar enough that people can still recognize.
They do they cover it up with another song that's similar on TV
It's all about copyright issues, the network does not want 2 have to pay the Beyonce' estate or any other song affiliate estate everytime they use their song, my guess is cuz their price is $$$ and if you use a knockoff you can either get it by a deal (giving them some exposure) or it's a relatively low price.
