The video quality depend on your provider. Only thing you can do is to make sure the video output is set to 1080p-60 or auto.
The flickering - buffering may also be problem with your provider or overload server.
Request a portal address change if there is more than one available.
If it happens with all the cannels check your internet although also may be your iptv service provider

Hello, I have the Mag 322 about three weeks ago. When I first got it I could see the UK Channels and ITV channels. However, three days later I lost all the UK, ITV and BBC channels. The guy I got the box from told me to reboot it for a few seconds. Which I did. Now it got worst. I have lost more channels. I lost Supper Channels, some HBO's, even some USA.
What should I do?
Please advise me.

Channel availability depend on the service provider reliability, so there is no much you can do but wait for the cannels to come back or request a different portal address or try a different service provider. Sorry...but rebooting will not fix a problem that is not in your end

Hi thank you for your time and information...Now I'm having difficulty trying to change a portal address in my MAG 322, the main address(the first one I used) I think is embedded has expired and I want to use a different provider...The second one I got was a months trial, I don't like this one so have since purchased a new subscription...When I went to the settings-then general and then Portals my first and second portals are not clickable???...There is only 2 so I can't put the new URL into the portal...Any advice would be very welcome, I have looked at youtube videos but the portals all seem to be clickable???...Thanks
Very unusual, it have to be clickable for modification. Try disconnecting cat5 or wifi from internet then reboot and should have the page loading error message from inner portal then follow the server/ portal address update. Save it connect to internet and try again.

I have not seen on other models an option to lock portal however, withing the inner portal -server option if there is additional setting by pressing F key like f1 f2 to release server info

Hi, I have mag 254. Channel list is there, but when I click a channel there is no channel loading. Name is there also tv listings are correct. No issue with WiFi either...any help is appreciated thank you !!!!
Mostly, the issue is your streaming service provider unstable channel feeding or overloaded server.. it may happens to some or all channels. You may request a resend authorization or to be switched to another url server address if they have more than one.

I have a 254 box. Power down unit in the evening. But in the morning it would not power up with the remote. Tried a different remote. Same issue. Any ideas?

Last night I was watching TV on my MAG254 all of a sudden screen went black and box wouldn't respond to the remote (steady blue led). I've noticed that when I unplug and plug the device my TV displays a 480 resolution. After troubleshooting for a bit box came back up and after a few minutes a bunch of lines were displayed on the TV and screen went back to black with box becoming unresponsive.
How do you switch audio description of? 🤔
As a reminder, the external interface setting always override the inner portal setting. Answering your question.
If the option is not available in setting then, you cannot.
Hi, why does my MAG254 have such a low streaming bandwidth? My ISP provides 300MB of line buy yet, the MAG254 only seems to see or stream at not more than 5mb when I do a speed test. Any idea how to solve this? Thanks!! BTW, I have tried buffering adjustments etc.
Don't mind the build in speed test. Because is unreliable and your streaming service do not depend on that reading, i have no clue why is that option available if it doesn't work, hopefully infomir developers will take care some day. If you have latency, freezing or any other streaming problem then is more likely caused by your streming service provider. Not you ISP because that internet speed you have is far more than what you need.
You can try the same service in a different device, like StbEmu pro app installed on amazon firestick. That will let you emulate a mag 254 as well as some other models.

Hey there. How do you clear cach on this box ?
Since the iptv service is remote server dependant is not storing information locally and there is no cash to clear. A regular android box do have but not this type.

On my MAG254w1 box, I just cannot type or delete any letter from the KB on Portal page. That is why I can't install a new portal. Any suggestion???
very unusual if the keyboard pops up. Try with a USB keyboard/mouse using either the front or the back USB port.
RUclips iSsue on MaG 254....Showing “ error playing content”. Any solution???
More likely that happens when the service provider broadcast a video format not compatible with the default player of your Mag.
You need to check with your provider if a mag iptv box is Fully compatible with their streaming service, if is not then you need to change provider as you can't change the default player on the Mag setting.

That could be the topical NTSC vs PAL tv output.
Hopefully of to hat is your problem 5he solution could be as easy as reversing to the correct video format.
Reboot your mag and at booting time press the key f1.
If that do not work just follow the video you linked your question and at the CMOS menu select video output NTSC if you are in a country that use to hat video format. Or PAL for most UK countries.
If you still cannot see the CMOS menu then comsider that your mag253 hdmi is gone. If that is the case there is nothing you can do.
Video output from RCA almost always work, the problem would be getting the pin adapter.
You may try with another tv just in case.
And also remember mag254 is already discontinie.

Hello, could you please help me diagnose what the issue is with the box; i plugged it in and it's not switching on (no blue light and no picture on the tv). I am thinking it's either the power lead or the box itself; what can I do?
I would go with the power adapter first just try with a different power adapter but make sure is same voltage and amp it is always safe to use higher amp but don't try a higher voltage

@@2Shortcuts I was told that bringing in the suitcase may have caused this issue from the x-rays. Do you think that would be the case and if it is then the damage would be on the box rather than the adaptor?
That x-ray theory make no sense, to my knowledge every single load from foreign countries have to pass some sort of x-ray. And 99.9 of all infomir mags are not from USA, plus, i know traveles with back and forth iptv boxes with no such of issue to be attached. So to me is a Noup. I would still check the power supply. Worst case scenario the internal board could be bad.

Can you use wireless wifi for this ?
If your Mag 254 version is not wireless ready you can always use a dongle USB compatible antenna for wireless service.
Mag 254 was discontinued and upgraded for mag 322 that also have build in wireless antenna

I'm assuming that is an android box.
Out of the thousand android boxes claiming to have what they shows on the spec sheet most of the time they have not and is hard to know if one blame the box, the streaming provider or the internet.
However, if you are sure your ISP is fast enough for streaming ( 0ver 10 to 20 MBps) for standar or hd and no less than 40MBps for 4k preferably 100MBps.
Then you problem could be between your box and your streaming provider.
You will need to test with a different provider to compare as many times their streaming service may demand lot more than what your tv box can handle.
Also the emulator app you are using could play it's own game.
In conclusion.
You would need a different box or a different streaming to test and compare if the problem repeat. That assuming your internet ispeed s not the problem.
Take into account how many devices are running on your wifi at the same time you are streaming because that is definitely a killer
Hello, i have a mag254. When i start the box in the morning it is not opening the channels. After take out and in the power plug it is working again. What can be the problem?
That is hard to tell it sound like a processing issue but could be hdmi output but also could be your TV hdmi input. You may try your mag in a different hdmi port, a different hdmi cable or a different TV to see if the problem repeat that way you could be Sure is the box. And if is the box and the problem is really annoying then do a factory default. If you go that way remember to copy your portal url address.

I am haveing trouble switching from two portals, I have ti reboot.
That is the way it works on the Mag 254 you may have more than one portal address but only one at a time will take over when booting up. You choose which one to select.
Hi, i’m having a problem where the iptv turns on but as soon as the “press menu to load portal selection screen” comes on, the screen goes black. Please tell me how to fix it, it’s been like this for 2 weeks and i even switched the ethernet cable with a tv adapter, and i was able to set it up, but that’s as far as i could go. It went black again when i restarted it.
That may be a mistyped portal address, incorrect portal address or a portal address linking to server with problems. The option to select a portal should not pop-up unless you have more than one.
The easies way to troubleshoot is disconnecting from internet and wait for page loading error to display, they go to server setup and double check your server address is updated, you may see the option to press F1 or F2 to select multiple server at boot up, if you do turned off.
Reconnect your internet save and exit and reboot.

The problem is more with your streaming provider not the box. You need to try a different URL portal address. As your streaming provider server is provably overloaded with more users that it can handle.

RUclips or browser on MAG versions are internet dependable and are not linked to donations. Channels and VOD will be URL/Portal dependable. So if you cannot see or play VOD movies, then make sure you have the correct URL/portal information bounded to your mac address and that is updated or refreshed. Or make sure that provider is broadcasting a compatible video format supported by your MAG. It should be listed on their site the supported STB so you could have an idea.
if you have an STB emulator (that emulate MAG boxes) to correct the video problem, go to setting and try different video player.

Yes, just need internet connection. You can also used as a Computer to navigate the internet. But is better to used with with a wireless keyboad and mouse.
Not sure the Mag 250 supports wireless keyboard / mouse but will give it a try...
they all do, using the existing USB port just connect the USB Bluetooth adapter that comes with the keyboard set........ most of them support Linux/android devices. just make sure is not just for window/mac.

very few things to try; first is to eliminate the possibility that is not the hdmi port from the TV or the hdmi cable itself. if problem continue then tweak the hdmi output setting from the external portal not the inner portal. (if you have the option for audio selection output) you may or may not have it as it will depend on your service provider portal. lastly make sure is one, some or all channels that are giving you the audio problem as sometimes it may also be your service provider streaming issue. To rule that out you may need to try a different portal address if they have more than one or test try with a different provider. ( there are many that will let you do a free trial for up to 24 hours) just google it.

No sound may be caused by your iptv seevice provider or an issue with your tv sound speaker, sound bar or audio system. You need to rule out that the problem is not one of the mentioned.
If your sound use to work and now is not then, check the audio cable connection.
If never worked from the beginning then, it cojld be the audio codec used by your iptv service provider is not soppoter on the iptv box you are using or may need to check on the aetting if there is more than one audio output option

I have mag324w2. It was working fine. But now when i try to watch no chennels are loading. It just stays blank. Please help.
The best way to troubleshoot that problem is a process of elimination.
First, i would try a direct connection with cat5 and see if the problem repeat..
If the problem continue then i would almost blame the streaming service provider.
But, before that i would run a speed test to make sure is nothing wrong with internet speed and would check if is only happening with some channels or almost all of them.
If the internet speed test is over 10 mbps
Then is almost 4 sure your provider is the problem.
What do I do when it says file missing in videoclub
Your service provider is the problem. The type of video coding they arw using may not be compatible with your device or their video streaming VOD is corrupted. In other words there is nothing wrong with your device. And you should try another provider.
If your are using an Emulator like STBEMU then you could change the video output player to a different one to correct the problem. Sorry if you are using a Mag box.
why wont this box find wireless wifi.. i saw something about a dongle? is this true... android boxes are so much easier..
Still sound but no video on some channels.
That look and sound to me that the problem is from your service provider, so don't go too crazy troubleshooting your box.
You may also get video with no sound or not syncing the voice, also auto looping (repeating frames or getting stock).
You may try a different URL address from a different server from your provider IF THEY HAVE ANOTHER ONE,
If they don't then sorry but try a different provider. Remember that many of them let you try before you buy and you can link more than one with your iptv box.
When the IPTV loads. It keeps flickering on and off. About every 5-10 seconds. If I select auto on both those settings my tv doesn't recognize them. I have 4k TV Samsung. Any help is appreciated thank you
From inner portal, Just set video output to the highest 1080p-60 if you are in N America or any country that use the format NTSC or 1080P-50 if your format is Pal.
The refresh rate should adjust automatically which is usually what cause the flicking or intermittent flash out. From video setup you can also (from inner portal) set the frame rate enable/disable or select the frame rate compatible for your TV. again, i usually leave this disabled because the auto option should take care that. But try to see if you get different results.
Also on Video setting set Graphic resolution to 1920x1080.
Remember that the final video resolution and quality will depend on your provider.
As you have a 4k TV make sure you are not using a dedicated 4K HDMI @60hz port on your tv. Connecting to a 4k port may cause a refresh rate problem (flicking) on a tv not always all HDMI ports are 4k ready, so consider switching to a different port.....good luck

I have one of the first generation of mag 254 it freezes too many times. Was wonder why.
If you have an stable internet speed 10mb/s and still getting abnormal freezing then it is your provider. It may be their server overloaded. Some of them may have more than one server/portal. So changing the server will fix your problem. If they don't have that option then consider changing the provider. As your first generation Mag it is still kicking strong and it is very stable and supported.
Hello. Most of my channels aren't HD. My settings are correct. In the small screen when choosing the channels. The picture looks very hd. Then when I enlarge it,it's not HD at all. Best is 720 quality. Please help me
The channels resolution depend on your provider streaming. The mag will be able to handle up to 1080. Stting option from inner portal. However, you can partially control the resolution from outer portal. This resolution render as high as your provider can handle and the outer setting allow.... Apect ratio will not have much inpact on quality. Bandwidth from your ISP and your TV provider mostly will. Some sell 1080 service but many fall short. Very short. ...to clear your doubt. Just free test a different provider. There are plenty out there just Google it free trial iptv and make your pick...
Also it is very important. To know that the TV itself have a lot to do how quality is rendered. Some brands model number will mark a big difference over others. Don't picture the size as almost always a small screen will looks good compared with a big screen. Regardless...

Yes wil change to the fight scheduled, and also there is another channel that it shows blackout but also open on special events like the schedule boxing it may i cannot recall it but is also before the adult channels 456,457. However expect freezing due to overloads....the trick is switch back and forth between the two ch. if it happens. Depending on you provider may be light or really bad.

No sound on some movies ?
That may be a server problem with your IPTV service provider, as you say some movies have sound. If you have this problem since day one then your service provider is broadcasting with incompatible audio codec (not supported by the mag version you have).- If the problem is recent and at random check if you can switch to a different server/portal from your service provider if they have more than one server/portal address. sometimes server overload cause random misbehaviour like the one you have or freezing, or lagging, . the game is to wait or change to a more stable multi server provider.

If you are sure your internet is up and your mag is connected via cat5 to your router and still shows not internernet connection same no able to download updates then the build in ethernet port is bad. You will need to get a USB wifi antenna and try that way........check the connectio activity; from innwr portal from the fist page with the apps you can see in the far top left corner the connection to the internet status. The icons shoud be yellow regardless if you are using wifi or hardwire. If they are grey then ther is no internet connection. Another way is going to setting, network info and check if is up or down....if you already did all that and confirmed that the box is the problem then claim your warranty or try the wireless antenna. $10 from ebay just buy one compatible with mag...
Double check the connection from your router to the mag, make sure the connection in not loose, check the cable, try a different cabke, a different port in the router. Eliminate is a local problem.....good luck..

Usually that problem is not your STB it is your iptv service provider. It may last week's depending how often they run their updates. Just hang in there or switch provider.
how to use a usb stick on mag254?
Insert usb stick on usb port, go media on menu panel and play the files available. If you mean for recording, the reording option will depend on your provider if they have that option enabled on their streaming service, but if they do then the process of the stick is the same

I would not recommend youtube app on mag as the external port taking over as primary interface app like youtube is unreliable or useless. Better use it from another device

Nope, i would recommend you to get youtube from another source. RUclips app is always been unreliable on mag stb. Nothing you can do, nothing i can do. Only infomir developers and who knows when they will play wrh that.
