hey, I was one of the staff/devs who helped with buffing the tower. I didn't have much free time to be able to buff this like how I wanted, and on top of that I couldn't playtest this often. Scope 2's release was also really close by, which didn't help much either, so the quality of this buff is an absolute disaster. I plan on reworking the buff to be much more consistent (enjoyable too to an extent??) and actually nil, but it'll definitely take a while. Hopefully the rework will be much more well received but for now you all are stuck with this goofy version🗿
@@MontyMole526 The two are pretty comparable in difficulty imo, it's just that ToVL is vastly more unbalanced than ToSF, leading to some jumps becoming major roadblocks.
I reuploaded this with cuts since my old video didn’t have the overlay and contained skips. Beating this without cuts would be extremely impressive since this tower feels much more difficult than ikea
I do that for some jumps because you are able to move in smaller increments while midair. This allows you to align for the longer jumps that require more precise timing
It is a practice mode in CSCD (and some other games) that lets you place down checkpoints that you can return to; in CSCD they act as spawnpoints, meaning you can be killed and return back to them.
yeah, i can tell. i witnessed one of my friends all jumping the tower and he got to floor 10. and the 11:15 jump took him, like, 10-20 minutes until i decided to watch a vid on the tower. the guy in the video showed me that people can skip this entire section by just catching onto a ledge and flicking on top of the section. i told my friend about it and he did the exact same thing (in which he succeeded), and we just proceeded to laugh our asses off. i swear, the cscd devs are not doing this tower justice.

a bottom nil tower with a perfect balance without any rng jump on half 2,you cant skip anything and without any spike on the entire tower.
This is the one tower I am absolute certain the devs did NOT playtest.
fr 4 is literally possible in one run, same with most of 7 and the start of 8; and then there's just floor 10...
its surprising how tosf is rated higher than this on the chart but i can barely get past f1 in this

It aparantly is because they didn't buff it to the extend it was meant to be and didn't do the changes in the difficulty chart
