Wonderful fun hunt to watch. I tell you Bastia what I wouldn't give to be able to have a jar full of all those beautiful perfect little shell I see while you are hunting. I am nearly bedridden due to breaking my back from a fall and can't get to the beach to do my favorite shell collecting along with my all time love of finding beach glass, I just love it. This makes watching your videos such a joy for me, please keep them coming.❣️❣️🦋🐚.
Nice pile of clad! Getting that quarter count up I see. No quarters here , I may find one every now and then. Lovely shells and the sound of the ocean is wonderful. Thanks for sharing.
Lord Bashia, you must have worn yourself out doin all that diggin. If we all could be so lucky. Well to call it lucky would be an insult to you. You have put in the time and work to perfect your craft. Congrats on your finds. Thank you so much for sharing with us all! GL & HH.
Thank you so much! Over the last 2 yrs I've learned how to "read the beach". It changes every day with each high tide, currents, storms and movement of sand. This hobby is amazing, so much out there to be found! Have a great day!
Nice amount of change. I am happy to dig anything whether it be pulltabs bottle caps, coins or jewelry. I just love the sound of the machine. I find mostly pennies when it comes to change. I'll trade ya. lol. Thanks for sharing. GL and HH Eric
I say I will dig quarters all day long and never complain... same goes for dimes and nickels.... but pennies.... not so much.... most you cant spend cuz they have fallen apart!!! Nice job Basia... not bad for the short time out... Thanks for taking us along. GL&HH to you.
Hi, glad you came along on my beach adventure! Always fun when there's lots of targets and starting this weekend the beach will be packed with tourists! Happy Hunting to you!
Was down there over Memorial Day weekend and went out detecting 5 times. You folks have done a good job of keeping all the coins picked up. First trip out I only found 1 quarter and two pennies. Did a little better the next 4 times, but still not much. People were not dropping much.
Love your videos.....!!! Will be taking a road trip to The Outer Banks and coming back down the coast to Georgia in August. Hope I will be able to do some detecting while on the trip. I'm new at this so I'm still learning. Happy Hunting..!!! 😁😁😁😁
Hi Kate, there was a large fishing weight with fishing line all tangled up in the seaweed. I didn't have anything with me to cut the line and rescue the fishing weight!
Hi, it is beautiful here year round but more crowded starting Memorial weekend until Labor Day! Hope you get a chance to come back and enjoy it again! Have a great day!
Hi, Basia! I love your videos. I'm glad that you got a replacement knob for your Teknetics machine. I know it doesn't affect how your machine works but it makes me happy. 😁
Your awesome Basia! Quarters Galore!! I was on Sunset Beach Memorial Day weekend found a piece of sharp bobbed wire and some junk metal from a beach chair. Got to help a woman find her car keys to her Honda. That was awesome in itself. Then went to Ocean Isle and found 4 quarters 2 dimes and 4 pennies. Like you said this hobby is so much fun. Every hunt these beaches?
Hi Craig, it's always awesome when you can help someone find their lost item! Good job! It's been a while since my last visit to Sunset Beach & Ocean Isle. Happy Hunting!
Nice quarter haul once again. Love the little cow bell piece. I've always taken you as a "Hip Hop For Life" kinda girl so not surprised you found that! Lol.
Hi Jason, those quarters are adding up fast! Ha ha ha, Hip Hop For Life, we'll maybe, I do have that hip hop ring I found, so maybe it's official! Congrats to you on the awesome growth on your channel!
Looks like the beach is really washing out. I went with a friend to Wildwood, NJ and guess what he found , nothing was told you have to get out there before they come threw with the sand sifter i the morning. Oh well
Oh that's too bad! As far as the erosion, it is spotty, walk 2 blocks and the sand is there, then few more blocks and erosion again. So, I look for the eroded areas and detect there. The sand will be back as it always comes back. Have a good evening!
Thank you! It's a popular beach hobby so I guess the secret is to get there before anyone else. There are detectorists that hunt our beaches at night, 1-3 AM. I always assume that others already came and went...
oh yea, watch my next video, i talk about that night time hunting,, you just would not believe what happened to me sunday evening,, im still rattled by it
Quarter beach...heck yeah...love those kind of days, you saw all the Quarters I got last weekend at the beach, it was crazy, I keep a very detailed logbook, I start it on Jan 1 & go til Dec 31, I put the date, where I go & my finds from that place, I like to keep track of what I find where, I also have a page for each coin & keep count of them that way, congrats on a good day out =)
I actually look very closely at every coin I find, I look at each one thru a magnifying glass as a matter of fact, when I find change on the ground, get change back, find coins in Coinstar machines, every coin I come in contact w/ I look at very closely =)
Hi Tim, yes, 101 quarters so far this year. I am keeping a count of total $$ I found since I started metal detecting and it's definitely an impressive amount! On my very first time metal detecting in July 2014 I found $7.26
Hi Joseph, I am doing well, hope you are as well. My channel has turned into a metal detecting theme big time. I have another channel Out&About w/Basia where I am posting whatever other things I want. I may post some recipes there.
Hi, I find black, sparkly rocks all the time. Usually where there's a lot of shells washed out. Have been collecting them over the years, I don't think there's any value for those!
Oh you can do it David. Just take that metal detector to a local park. Go early in the morning or in the evening when no one is around, clean up the quarters and other treasures! Or, you can go to the beach and rake up some big money. You can get that cup of coffee or several cups in no time!
If a young girl who is going to get married, using a metal detector, looks for different things on the beach, she can become a rich bride for her future husband ... if the girl is already married by this time, she can become financially independent of her husband .... If they suddenly divorce, and her ex-husband together with her will look for something on the same beach (but they are already divorced and through the court have long ago shared their acquired property), they can reconcile with each other and start living again together ... Conclusion - no need to sit all year round home, but it is better to be closer to nature ...)))
Wonderful fun hunt to watch. I tell you Bastia what I wouldn't give to be able to have a jar full of all those beautiful perfect little shell I see while you are hunting. Thank you so much! Yes, a shell and my target = 2 treasures. Happy Hunting!
Nice amount of change. I am happy to dig anything whether it be pulltabs bottle caps, coins or jewelry. I just love the sound of the machine. I find mostly pennies when it comes to change. I'll trade ya. lol. Thanks for sharing. GL and HH Eric

Yep, saw all the coins you are getting cleaning up the Gulf beaches! They sure add up fast!
May i suggest u look at the year on all coins that are found, could mean some value.
I actually look very closely at every coin I find, I look at each one thru a magnifying glass as a matter of fact, when I find change on the ground, get change back, find coins in Coinstar machines, every coin I come in contact w/ I look at very closely =)
Oh I do check the dates and only mention the oldest ones I find.
Wow, you are so thorough!
the most important thing is you are having fun
Absolutely, always fun for me to grab the detector and walk the beach!
Where did you buy your sand scoop? I'm trying to find one like it.
Also, what model number is your Garrett pinpoint?
The beach erosion may expose old gold coins that have been there hundreds of years. Wouldn't that be nice to find!
Definitely possible... You know I am scouring the badly eroded areas!
Wow, that's great. That's a lot of quarters.
Thank you Val, those quarters are adding up fast!
101 quarters alone so far this year? Wow. That's impressive. :)
Hi Tim, yes, 101 quarters so far this year. I am keeping a count of total $$ I found since I started metal detecting and it's definitely an impressive amount! On my very first time metal detecting in July 2014 I found $7.26
That's quite a piggy bank indeed. LOL. :)
Yes, it's a big one!
Nice video, makes me want to be on the beach.....ugh
Thank you so much! Have a great day!
Nice video. I like them.
Thank you so much! Happy Hunting
Hi Basia how are you, have you any New recipes? Would love to hear from you even your favorites woild be welcomed. Joe Keifer
Hi Joseph, I am doing well, hope you are as well. My channel has turned into a metal detecting theme big time. I have another channel Out&About w/Basia where I am posting whatever other things I want. I may post some recipes there.
Do you find micrometorites - and are they worth anything?
Hi, I find black, sparkly rocks all the time. Usually where there's a lot of shells washed out. Have been collecting them over the years, I don't think there's any value for those!
Did you miss a coin (top right hand corner) between 1:37 and 1:47 on your video?
Great catch Ray! Yes, that was a nickel. I got it when I covered the hole and ran my machine over it again! Have a great day!
Thanks for the confirmation Basia. I wasn't sure if it was a coin or some sort of circular ocean creature. :)
Congratulations on breaking 100, how about 500 next, glhh
Thank you! I will work on that for sure!
beautiful
Thank you Sean!
welcome
I been getting a lot of quarters too
Alright! Where do you detect?
You are enjoying life.
Hi Jan, absolutely great life, one day at a time! Have a great day!
Beautiful
Thank you Natalie!
Hey Basia, i like how you never chip your nails......a girl has to watch out for her nsils! Lol Great hunt, keep up the good work! GL HH
Thank you for coming along! Yes, trying to keep those nails nice! Happy Hunting
Now if you can set that detector for paper money ...... you'll be ROLLING in the DOUGH !!!!!!
If the paper money is in a money clip then the detector will find it otherwise must rely on my eyeballs!
I found a penny today....
108 more and I can buy a cup of coffee
Oh you can do it David. Just take that metal detector to a local park. Go early in the morning or in the evening when no one is around, clean up the quarters and other treasures! Or, you can go to the beach and rake up some big money. You can get that cup of coffee or several cups in no time!
Haha - OK Thanks Basia!
probably because they are so heavy they fall out of pockets easier.
You are probably right, the heavier coins fall out first!
Ill spend 8 0r 9 hours on the beach and time just fly's by
Yes, that's definitely easy to do!
A few more quarters, you can buy a new manicure, :-)
Hi, that's true but I do my own nails, can't see spending $30-$40 on my nails! Have a great day!
Bad erosion....LMAO
If a young girl who is going to get married, using a metal detector, looks for different things on the beach, she can become a rich bride for her future husband ... if the girl is already married by this time, she can become financially independent of her husband .... Great analogy and Conclusion! Thank you for watching and commenting!
nice video.....!
Thank you!
