- Mcdoubles back again with a brand new video and today I'm going to hop back on Project Ascension and bring a brand new character from the status of ZERO to the renewed status of HERO in only a couple days.
I start with a Blood and Guts build and level up to 60 and then use that build to farm heroics and M+ until I get enough gear to hop into a BWL and then a Naxx pug. Ultimately, I decide that I really don't enjoy Blood and Guts that much and so I decide to take some of my crazy loot drops and prestige my character, and in this video you get to see the entire journey.

Also the caches callboard caches scale with item lvl to a certain degree so keeping them if u can is probably worth. -You can also get tier 1-2,5 in prestigious cashes.

Happy to see you back on Ascension. I think I will be back in it soon. Quit Wotlk about 2 months ago, quit dragonflight before first raid lol. Honestly just been on Summoners war chronicles despite it being so basic.

Happy to see you back man, these dreams you're having sound like you're carrying a lot of stress with you and the innate worry for those you care about. Failing classes, bad past memories and heath problems with loved ones. It's boiling over; if you want to stop seeing things like that in your dreams I'd suggest reaching out and reconciling with family (if the option is there), apologizing for the past, and connecting with loved ones (especially the older ones). As for classes and things like that just look at your GPA, or individual scores for classes. Remind yourself that you haven't failed, or reinforce that you won't fail by studying and applying yourself more.
That being said these are common 'dream responses', I'm guilty of having them myself, in almost the exact same situations you described. It's normal to have them because it's normal to have stress. The more you can alleviate it, the less you will see it, but it may occasionally crop up again.
Best of luck with future vids, moderately excited to see how league 4 plays out, and definitely hype to see vids from you from that.
Or an easier solution is to smoke a bunch of weed before bed lol. Works really well. I never dream unless I take a break

I remember playing ascension when it was first released. I even tested TBC for a while before it was released. The server has changed so much but glad to see people still having fun with the server and all the new changes even if its not for me anymore.

I played ascension really long time ago when half of the stuff was not even there like theese legendary abilities or something it's pretty cool , back then it was just same vanilla but you can build your own character from the spellbook with every classes ability
With Reckful's death I cried a lot and I went to hug my mom. It was difficult to me to explain to her I was crying because of a streamer dying. It felt to me like a friend dying, too. Obviosuly it's not the same, but it was sad to see someone so smart and entertaining die so young due to mental health stuff.

i would love to see something like old lineage2 private servers subclass system for future leagues: u lvl up ur class, did some max lvl quests, pick a new class and pum, u are lvl 1 again, keep the old class talents and spells, but now u are making up to max again using a new tree, new spells and all that to make ur personal hero, i thought i was cap at base class + 3 . maybe the devs can do, like idk base + 2 so it doesn't go so crazy, and make talens tree for old class unchangeable, until prestige or something. that would make u lvl up keeping in mind the talents ur chosing are for the final product, that could make the journey a little bit more longer, personal and fun. love ur videos my dude :)
Played a Blood and guts build myself. Its only viable when you proc execute AFTER disembowel but putting points into execute talents and having mythics like sudden death and deadly combo will improve the proc rates significantly.

You just get all the offhand weapon dmg % talents and your titanic mutilate will pump, storm strike and whirlwind scales well with offhand damage talents too

I have a feeling part of why you're excited for League 4 is because you know about a good chunk of the stuff, or at least some of the exciting stuff, that's happening in League 4.
I know probably 20%, or that's my assumption. But Dutch and Ascension are so good at hyping things (obviously a good and a bad thing if they fall short), that I could be wrong and I actually know 50%. You're right though, but I'm also excited because I love Ascension WoW and desperately want it to be good again. The happiest private server gaming moments of my life happened on Ascension WoW
@@Mcdoubles I understand that, I love Ascension too, and I know you've spent a whole lot more time playing the game, having played since at least Season 3, meanwhile I started at the beginning of Season 6. I feel more skeptical just because I'm heavily invested in creating my own uniqe ideas and just with the game had more of a "These are the tools" mindset to RE desgin instead of "These are the playstyles."

I've heard its fallen behind recently, but its definitely still good and viable. You just probably want something different for +45-50's and Ascended Raids if I had to guess.

I don't remember that specifically, but I also don't ninja gear. I think I faintly remember being given a tier helmet in like Onyxia or something, and then I quit playing with that guild, but that's not ninja'ing and it's not like I would have went into it with that in mind. I think peoples perceptions of events on these games is sometimes really crazy and "too into it" and people forget that most people just play the game with no maliciousness or ill-intentions. So in other words, you're applying too much malice to it and not thinking about the idea that your perception of what happened might not actually be what actually happened. Hope that makes sense, since I don't want you to think ill of me when I didn't do anything wrong.

if you didn't use Aura+Potion all the damn time you wouldn't have to complain about the leveling being too fast. Most people don't use them (tho sometimes we do encounter stupid rich ppl offering us free aura in BG or dungeon). Just the sweatlords obsessed with effective use of time.
90% of the server does aura splits because it's just better, it's not fun leveling for the 50th time without an aura + pot, plus they're quite cheap
After playing hundreds of hours on Area 52 playing Free pick.. I truly don't understand the point of Thrall. Like don't get me wrong, I think the gameplay of every single person spamming arcane blast to completely ignore leveling in WORLD of Warcraft. I really don't want that kind of player to be in my servers, but dropping the population of Area 52 just doesn't make sense to me. What in the everliving hell is the point of the random spell cards? The goal of EVERY single player is to do you best to optimize your cards, and induce an exact build.. WHY EVEN DEAL WITH THE RANDOMIZATION THEN?!? But surely there has to be a reason I just cannot see. I just wish every player would move to Area 52.
I think the problem with Area-52 is that classless WoW is a mess when its taken seriously and so when everyone can do whatever they want, that leads to some god awful PvP and some REALLY bad stratification between builds in general. Some people take the opportunity to play this game like its PoE and go hard with the theorycrafting, while most WoW players seem to fall behind since they just want to play a class and master that class, which is often far simpler of a process. The random seasonal realms still have A HINT of "this is just for fun and isn't that deep" where most players don't often have the best stuff. Before you say it, I know that there are still guys that no life it and end up with basically free-pick builds anyway and that it defeats the entire point, but it's still a big minority compared to most players, and that maintains an element of fun in the classless format.
A lot of it is also mental, when there's only 9 classes and 3 specs on each, there are only so many talent specs people can realistically create and its nearly impossible for someone to make something that nobody else has figured out due to how narrow it is. This means the concept of copying a spec for your class just feels minor in comparison to how copying builds feel like on Ascension, where it truly feels like you're just playing some other guys class. I think that turns people off a lot more.
@@Mcdoubles I think you hit the nail on the head, but I think there is one more reason. Since Area52 never resets you gear your character and get to cap and just....sit there. Even if you choose to prestige or re roll your character you won't get that "fresh server" experience. Everything just stagnates at end game, even more than it does on Thrall. Seasons give everyone a fresh start and to a lot of people that's enjoyable.
This game was prime when people were actually out in high risk and playing the game it was supposed to be played. Now the game is just a PVE fest filled with the same raids and dungeons over and over again. If they miss with league 4 its doomed
It's because people tend to not like forced PvP. Being ganged up on by groups of people when you're solo sucks.

@@sommerblume9671 I don't play high risk. The fact that some group of 3 friends could rock up and just farm me costing me my gear, means I won't touch it ever. Despite being someone who tends to love PvP.
Trust me when you friends start passing away, you will only feel an emptier world around you. The good side of that is that you will appreciate happy moments a lot more.
