Seeing a long sequence like that on a scarecrow that is still fun to watch is really unusual. 3:53 The side swaps with the Frost made this combo look like something Dante would do. Very nice. 4:22 Did the shotgun hitbox just hit the frost from the front? 5:21 Never thought to cancel that move like that. Didn't bother to put remarks for the combos toward the end because there was too much that impressed me haha. Nice work Turtle Sensei!

Hey man, I asked you this quesion before, sorry for bothering you, it’s probably a dumb question, but I really for the life of me can’t understand how to do reversal attacks. I’ll try this time to explain how I’m trying to do it. I’m trying to lock on to an enemy, and as I’m doing planning let’s say to do a high time launch right, I turn around and I’m just getting a regular triangle attack. What am I doing wrong? I’m completely new to the idea of reversal attacks.
You have to buffer attacks into a reverse attack, because the moment you execute your attack you lose the ability to change direction. If you buffer into it, you're able to tell your computer to do the move only after the current move animation is finished, which gives you the time to decide your direction before the buffered move comes out. For an easy example, if you want to reverse a high roller from a blue rose shot, you have to shoot, then input a high roller before the shooting animation is complete, release the lock-on before shooting animation is complete, then make the new direction before it comes out (in this case if you want to reverse a high roller, you don't move your direction since you're already holding the back input). So: Lock-on+Back+(Shoot → Slash almost same time),release Lock-on immediately after the slash input. Generally speaking, attacks like gunshot and normal slashes are designed to buffer into command attacks well, making them easy to reverse. Command attacks buffering into command attacks, however, generally have a shorter buffer timing, making some rather difficult to do consistently.
Frigidmoon but question, what if I just want to do a high time with Dante? And I’m juggling an enemy and reverse them or end a combo with a reverse shot from the behind Dante’s back?
@@furious_malic7808 What do you mean? If you want to do a regular high time, just do a regular high time input without releasing lock-on. There's no reverse shot as guns auto-lock no matter what. You can set up tricky situations so they're kinda reversed though.
everything is great except you are not human, right? the edit it's very good, but we can try to little bit use some 'Filter' to get better results. also the 8:09-end this two combo is good, there should be some positions for this two combos in the film. anyway it's my adivce~
