professional racquetball provides ams to be with/near the pros in the same venue at the US Open and others. It was a great experience. I like pro archery...because it is different than the other sports, not that some modeling should not happen but it should be done carefully. This was a great video with some very good info. Thanks for sharing.
We're there to shoot archery not talk on the phone or play with the computer. Thank you for enforcing this rule. Besides, how can you make friends and socialize if you are on the phone and not event socializing?
I wish the state level ASA leaders were as passionate about growing archery as Josh is. Everyone at my state level is power hungry or set in the past. If Josh really wants to grow the sport of archery he should start with the local clubs.
As far as cellular. Several providers have COWs cellular on wheels. Used to boost connectivity when a large event occurs at various places. Just a thought
To add a bit of info to my FB reply to you......Last year, the most archers that class drew was 9 and at Minden there were only 4. Go back to 2019 and that class regularly drew more than 20. Crossbow 45 technically was a semi-pro class that manufacturers paid contingency for. They didn't want to do that anymore for a class that draws 4-9 people, so everyone now goes to the "crossbow" class, which is amateur and not semi-pro.
Asa is talking about being international , but they're only in the SE part of the united states? They should focus on a better spread of events in the US first for big events and not just state events....
the CAM manager hates social media. lol. disable comments. social media makes everyone think their opinion matters. PJ...we nees a POLAR BEAR 3D target!
Cell phone rule seems a little silly. As far as the integrity of the game. If people want to cheat, they’ll cheat. You’re not keeping them from that. To touch on the archers mark, what if someone loses their paper, or gets it wet, or leaves it in there case etc. It’s about convenience in that regard.
As Josh said....he agrees with you and he wanted to get rid of the no cell phones rule. It was the archers on the ASA committee - the people who are directly affected by losing that paper - who said the rule should remain in place.
Great episode! Really enjoyed the last 20 mins or so.
Best archery hype video ive ever seen! Well done guys

The addition of Hunter 40 class is great move considering how may hunters use a movable single pin
