Great video mate and very relatable round. Those narrow courses can be really costly if your accuracy is just a bit off from the tees. I'm very good at punching out from under the trees due to the amount of practice I've had.

Thanks mate. Yeah unfortunately my driving wasn’t great during this round and on this course I was rightfully punished. Haha I can imagine 😅

As a fellow 11 HC I can safely say my short game is what is really holding me back

Yeah those double really can screw up what is otherwise a decent round - doubles and three putts....round killers. Although your driving accuracy was really what did you in today. Too many times having to pitch back in or hit between or over trees. But your ball striking was pretty solid for the most part. You already known the short game is the weak link though. I might have mentioned it once before but have you ever thought about trying a chipper? The Cleveland Smart Sole 4 is a really nice one. I also think you might benefit from a more forgiving wedge. Something like the Cleveland CBX which is a cavity back wedge and has a nice feel. Of course a lot more chipping practice could work too 🙂 Anyway I really enjoy your videos man. I really like how you add the commentary over the video after the round. You have a pretty good knack for it too - easy to listen too. Keep up the good work brother.

Thanks a lot for the feedback and support Alan, I really appreciate it.
I’ve never really looked into getting a chipper, to be honest I prefer the flexibility in regular wedges and how you can play different shots with them. I just need more practice 😅
But I agree, my driving wasn’t great during this round and on a tight course with a lot of trees, I was losing so many shots having to chip out. Another new video coming out in a few days 😊

Really enjoyed the video buddy, another good one from you as always👍🏻 I were just wondering out of curiosity what irons you play with? I got fitted for the P790s and absolutely loving them. Keep the videos coming mate🫡🙌🏻

I’m not sure man sorry, the club allowed me to play for free as I was filming/reviewing the course. My best advice is to follow the link in the description 👍
