I love that we live in a time when tube amps, modelers and software are all great and you can get whatever you want.

@@landonbailey TOO many ! All ya need is money, and plenty of it .....
i'm pretty fortunate- fancy interface, large recording monitors, plugins, modelling gear, higher-end pedals, etc. Sounds great, doesn't offend the neighbours. But an open-back combo, or even better, a pair, produces a 3D sound field that I can feel as well as hear. Doesn't have to be tube, but it has to move enough air to physically interact with my guitar and the room. Even powered PA cabs aren't as satisfying!
I use a tube amp through a Two Notes Captor X. It's similar to what you have on your REVV amp. It's pretty cool because you can switch up the cabinets. Two Notes came out with Genome, which is similar to what you have here, only more amps. The Genome was free to Two Notes users. I was thinking about getting a tube amp for bass, but that Genome had a great sound, so now I'm good. I'm pretty much just a basement songwriter, so that's all I need.
Genome is great!
I think I like the way Genome sounds better. The Genome really crushes the tube sound, while this just feels like Advanced GarageBand.

I love my digital modeler set up. I have a sweet powered monitor and use it for all my instruments(guitar, bass, edrums, keyboard, etc...)

You know that You can run your Tele or Les Paul into a Focusrite Scarlett interface and get good sound direct into any DAW you choose.

Cool and wild design of guitar modelling software from Blobaudio Blobnarök! The competitors like Amplitube / Bias were getting stale with their traditional skeuomorphic design. I've turned away from the various VST software I have these days and back to buying (smaller) gadgets. VSTs are professional quality for sure, but gadgets are lots of fun too. I just bought a Katana GO and enjoying it with various guitar/pickup combinations. Still waiting on the POD Express (maybe by end of June now at L&M, sigh).

The "Loki" sounds great with guitar. Lots of guitarists use bass amps...if you want to see/hear more about Loki and see a different perspective on this very cool plugin check out John Nathan Cordy's demo in conjunction with Landon's.

You can hear too much of the acoustic through your vocal mic. It doesn’t give a great example to hear the sim directly.

Hey Landon! I just wanted to offer a little constructive criticism. When demoing a guitar setup like this, I would turn down the vocal mic while you're playing. The ambient guitar is louder than the modeler and makes it difficult to hear the modeler at its best.

Not an amp hater. This is not very rock n roll - another computer program amp/pedal sim. Defo not for me. Marshalls all the way baby. (Yeah).
Not that it's of any importance, but BLOB is a lame computer acronym for Binary Large OBject. I guess they couldn't find a suitable word for the last 'B' and BLO could easily get perverted.

More evil inspired plug ins,not a chance I will ever use this or anything but a real amp, totally sucks your sound into the meta verse, where it is stored ,analized, for AI benefit.

This doesn't sound good at all! Everything is so muffled, and I can definitely tell it's got that fake digital sound. But, if this is what people like, so be it. Music is very subjective.
