My husband’s great uncles were high ranking Nazis. His mother was the first German woman to convert to Judaism in the state of Israel. How’s that for a story?
This is what our Savior, Lord Jesus, in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things have become new".
In this case, I hope the afterlife is real… so that the heinous perpetrators would be mercilessly turning in their graves… seeing the decent grandchildren and great grandchildren that succeed them in terms of posterity. Also, this is a great example of the principle that states “the sins of the father should not be burdens of the son”. In other words, the son should not have to pay or be held responsible for the sins or misdeeds of his father.
