I agree if added in game as the tech trees are now, but my intention would be for battle ratings to be expanded to 0.0 or for a general rebalancing of tech trees to allow for World War 1 and interwar tanks.

Personally, I disagree with you about the Garnier Renault SPG because the SAU 40 is overtiered for 1.7. I believe it would be best to put the Garnier in 1.0, and move the SAU 40 to 1.3.

Sub-1.0 vehicles just don't seem like an immediate priority. I think there should be more focus and improving expanding the current French low tiers with more viable vehicles. The Garnier and D1 could work, but the rest seem a bit underwhelming. Here are some potentially decent Rank 1 candidates that I don't think you have already covered: - AMC 34 (APX-2): AMC 34 with a new turret and the 25mm Hotchkiss gun - AMR 35 ZT-2: Basically a turreted version of the ZT-3 already in game. - Voisin CA 11: Amphibious tank with a low velocity 75mm - FCM 36 (SA38): FCM 36 modification with a more unusable gun - SEAM G1P: Similar-ish to the B1, but it trades some armor for mobility - AMR 39: Similar to the AMD 35, but with 6 wheels - Laffly W15 TCC: A semi-armored truck with the same 47mm as on the Lorraine 37L - Pz III w/ Pz II turret: Exactly what it sounds like. Seemingly cobbled together by French Resistance fighters
I agree I don't expect these in near future, but with War Thunder almost reaching the present day for existing tanks, Gaijin will have to start looking at past vehicles while still having a way to "hype up" updates and I think World War 1 and Interwar tanks could be a pretty unique selling point for a future update. I definitely will be covering some more French vehicles including some of the ones you've listed in the future.

New SPAA would be useful, but ultimately for new early tier SPAA they are going to be mostly based around machine guns or maybe single or dual mounted 20-25mm cannons, which doesn't seem a huge improvment as the P.T.7, CCKW and VTT DCA seem to cover the early tiers pretty well, though I can't speak for after those vehicles.
The only reason to add any of these to the game is so you can have different-looking models to play with.. Which is really all the reason that was ever needed.
Tier 10 also needs the South Korean K2...maybe for Japan as neither South Korea or Poland are represented in the game. Another one that needs adding is the Arjun from India.
How about they fix traction, remove no go zones in middle of maps, give us all the classic maps back, historic pen values, accurate crew sized for ALL vehicles and nations, axis vs allies battles in realistic, and please stop fuggering up the in game sounds! This dev is awful...

Yea some of the current 1.0 tanks can be difficult to use, hopefully by adding older tanks their battle ratings can be rebalanced.
The current 1.0 French tanks are actually solid vehicles. I have the H.39 spaded, which is one of my favourite tanks in the entire game.

@@msjj2 Yeah it's a bit sad at 1.7 but the APHE is pretty good and can pretty much pen anything with ease at most ranges.

Much like WT you dont nail the real problem with french tank tech tree. The lack of early period Anti Air vehicles.
