Can you use bi directional to narrow down issues for an SPN 157 FMI 16 code? Came up after i changed both fuel water separator and fuel filters on a dd13 Freightliner 2016 two fuel filter system?

@eriksatterfield4755 The troubleshooting process for this issue is somewhat extensive. We've pulled the first 20 steps from NextStep Repair, and we'd be happy to send them to you if you email us at marketing@noregon.com.
To get you started, the first step in troubleshooting for SPN 157 FMI 16 is to determine if this issue appeared after the fuel system was repaired and whether there may be air in the fuel system. Clearing the codes and conducting a road test are recommended for confirmation. Additionally, it says to confirm that the fuel tank is over 25% full; otherwise, sloshing can cause aeration.
Feel free to contact us if you have any other questions!
