Back when I was watching WWF, back in the late 80s to early 90s, you could order autographed pictures of various wrestlers. The only one I had was of George The Animal Steele. He signed his name with an "X". It was so funny watching him perform. WWF back then was the best with all the unique characters.

I don’t recall anyone but Steele using it. It may have caused some injuries, but he used it mainly against jobbers, and it would not be a “breakable” submission hold, if that makes sense.
