Audi A3 rear indicator bulb fault | Fixing it with a new bulb holder and wiring harness connector

My new-to-me A3 8P 2.0 TDI just developed this fault. When two bulb warnings flashed I realised it wasn’t likely to be blown bulbs & googled. Glad to find your video. A quick check shows the same wear on that one pin, so I can get the right parts order in & fixed fairly cheaply! (£40 for the holder though!!!). Thanks 😊

Yep just delt with this. I replaced the bulb and it started working again then all of a sudden not even a week it goes out again so glad I came across this vid. So I know what to do just in case it’s the same problem.

It was exactly the same problem that this video shows, the ground connection being melted or say burnt.
