It is so sad that EA rushed this game, you can see just how much content was cut out of the game by all the little clues scattered all over code and gameplay (there's few good videos on YT showing that in detail)
Agreed the driving physics were pretty good when you got use to them. single player was great and the multiplayer was surprising outstanding. I remember playing it not too long ago on PS3. I guess it still has a healthy player base. edit:The graphics are beautiful too and the custom cars were awesome.
These Canyons are way Scarier and Seriously deadly than the todays NFS series. Looks and feels real. I rather have this all over thriller coaster than The Crew.
@Enioko NFS The Run had good damage compared to the newest but still worse than NFS Pro Street/Undercover's damage. It is strange no matter how much you break the car in NFS The Run the hood and the bumpers can't fall off. And for some reason in almost any car the driver's door window can't break (only in few cars can). And the headlights/taillights still work no matter how much you break them (except in few cars the taillights stop working but the headlights still work).

A remake is something that you make it again or differently, so no NSX 2020 or the BMW Supra or the Koenigsegg Regera because it would be weird to have modern cars in a old game, the graphics, sounds, and deleted cars are the ones to include in the remake if a remake of the game is even possible
I feel like the second stage you did was a deliberate Initial D Easter egg. The three opponents use cars similar to ones in the show. Keisuke's Yellow FD, Toshiya's (God hand's) blue s2000 (Miata in the run), and Kyoichi's Evo.
Dude i litteraly forgot about the home theme song and when i heard the song playing i was like "what tha hell i uninstalled the game how come the game is playing?" I love the game and i finished it but i just cant resist the fps drops (my laptop is potatoooo) Edit: i totally forgot about the legendary songs
One thing I noticed during Independence Pass in my last week's playtrough with a Tier 6 car is that if I pass underneath of the final rock without being hit i't doesn't pop up the Suicidal mark. I was playing the Spanish version though, so maybe I can figure out that only works on the English version.

One of the best need for speed games. They should have continued the story from this game and build it up to where this driver takes over the east coast. But by far the one the best to had it not backwards compatible or I'd buy it without hesitation
If you are getting it get it for PS3/Xbox 360 it had more DLC there than the PC version sadly. But on PC version you can mod unlike on the consoles. And so far I haven't seen anyone adding the DLC cars from the consoles to the PC version.
HUGELY underrated game, I find the handling in this as "Film" perfection. This is how it feels to be an action movie driving superstar. I still have old multiplayer vids of this on my channel, the memories. Loved this game - also gave me a nice dogtag in Battlefield 3 lol
The livery is based off of some of the loaner cars in nfs prostreet’s race day mode. You see it on the grip rx8 and drift rx7 but I don’t know if it’s anywhere else

I love the traction at 150mph going around turns in ice and snow this is why I couldn’t do nfs anymore lol gran turismo time but still love the scenery and environments of this game looks beautiful

Compared to the 2010s NFS the only grip-based are NFS World, NFS The Run and NFS Heat - all from NFS Hot Pursuit 2010 - NFS Payback are brake to drift.

Only thing I hated about this game was the drifting mechanic. If they had made it like NFS Hot pursuit or most wanted (The remakes) it would have been near perfect

Only the small details are in very low resolution but who cares. For 2011 this game had impressively realistic graphics.

Actually there's no Team Zero AE86 on ProStreet, only a Mazda RX-8 and RX-7. The Run's version is only inspired by ProStreet.
This game needs a remake, more hours of gameplay and news cars like Nsx 2020, Toyota Supra 2020, Koenigsegg Regera, Bugatti Chiron, honda type r 🤔

Underground 1 doesn't have free roam for no reason and nobody complain.
The run doesn't have free roam by the story and everybody complain.
Well, there is a mod that allows you to free roam but some areas are not accessible like the path for the drag race Highway.
