Aren't you supposed to be at operating temperature ? .. I was always told get it up operating temperature hold it at 2500 RPMs for 60 seconds turn it off and check the oil within 30 seconds ?

Let it idle at operating temp for 2 minutes. Shut car off and wait 2 minutes then check dip stick. It has a dry sump thus the reasoning for needing the oil at operating temp.

@@ELECTRICEYEMEDIA yea but 2 minutes seems long most the oil drains back in the tank by then idk I think ever tec has a different way of doing it ... I know a few guys that just measure the oil that comes out and puts that exact amount back in and never checks anything
