Fantastic video very interesting
I'd love to spend a day back in time on this beautiful island. Maybe even a month.
I find it odd, that Australians go to Bali, Fiji and Thailand, and yet we have our own tropical islands.
I get why locals don’t want their island Paradise, overrun by tourists, but I am sure if the numbers could be tightly controlled, that these islands would benefit tremendously from tourist income. I for one would prefer to holiday somewhere within Australia.
I love the narration and dramatic music in these old news reels.
Still part of WA and yet I never been up there.
And I've never been there, although I went to sea as a fisherman in the Far East and now I live on the Volga in Samara
Brilliant 😊
Does it still look like this?? Or is it built up bigger??
I looked it up about a year ago on Google Maps, and it looked pretty much the same from what I could tell
That cameraman looked "just the ticket" swimming with his big black heavy boots on. I guess they counterbalanced his big heavy camera. 😅
Coconut rations...
"Promo sm" 🙃
