the level of disrespect in that scene always blows my fucking mind. edit: I’d actually be super interested to find out how much of his dialogue is just ad libbed, as his dialogue is just *so* good/natural that it doesn’t even feel like dialogue.
@@TheLevitatingFleem That's one of my favorite things about the show. A bunch of really cool dudes with insane egos disrespecting the hell out of each other 😂
An American design, but British built. Behind the the GPMG, the 2nd best machine gun ever built (in terms of provenance, style, and operation - not battle effectiveness) in my opinion. Got a real softspot for it 🇬🇧
Blocks of flats (apartment blocks to Americans) were not built in England until the 1950s, to fill the loss of housing in WW2. The first 12-storey high-rise blocks (Duddeston Four) opened in 1954. With a cast like this and the performances they give, it is perhaps easy to overlook Aiden Gillen as Aberama Gold (who also played Littlefinger in Game of Thrones), but this episode goes some way towards rectifying that. Packy Lee's character is called Johnny Dogs, not Dodds.
@@Grizzly_6623 it does kinda seem like that, huh? But it's weird because I specifically remember they had proper subtitles way back when I first watched the show on Netflix and that was at least 3 years ago

I was thinking the same thing. I think I’m gonna need to buy myself a Snuggie now. They should throw the channel logo on a couple and sell them as merch!
When it comes to Tommy's intentions around Jessie Eden... just wait. Some things will be devastating. But some things will be noble. You'll come around, but it will break your heart. As history tends to do.
I just realized Tommy has a type. All of the women we see him with, including his first love from before the war, are a variation on the same brunette theme. The exception was Grace.
Why Luca himself would take the risk getting into crossfire?! Couple of episodes ago he was extremely powerful figure. Now he takes too much risks. Not acting clever anymore somehow.
That's what I find annoying about this season. Not only Luca, but also the Peaky Blinders. They are supposed to be the gang running the town, police in their pocket, enough money to build a private army. But somehow in all episodes we've seen so far they have no protection. At all. Why are they walking around alone? Where are the bodyguards?
When Alfie says "right, hello!" Just HILARIOUS

"I feel like we're just showing off the gun, though." That was a WW1 Era Lewis Machine Gun. They gave Germans nightmares for a century.
It was also a call back to series 1. It was the one the coppers never got back

@@OmegaSoypreme yeah the subtitles were wrong. They're frequently wrong on this show actually
Yeah I think those subtitles are wrong, it’s Johnny Doggs
I noticed it too. When Solomon tells Luca to stop "thieving his oxygen", the subtitles say "breathing his oxygen".
I’d be willing to be to be Netflix has the subtitles run by Ai which is why of it comes out funky

Wikipedia lists the character as Johnny Dogs. I think it was just bad subtitles.
