Great job man. Just did this....and i had to go back and put more grease on bushings because they wouldn't slide properly...never mind the two ignorant arm chair quarterbacks about grease....totally necessary
good video- I just did mine (2012 xterra) before watching this - too bad! I recommend taking off corner plastic trim for access as you show, i just loosened screws and bent it up out of the way. Also always replace shackles when you do the spring packs. OEM shackles are press fit pins and hard to remove. Mine were seized, and rusted, but i didn't have shackles so reused. will advise how that goes...... Used penetrant and let it sit for a day, then started with a screwdriver, then 1 then another pickle fork and just pounded and pounded until they moved!. Also as a safety issue, a spring has retained energy-release one end before removing ubolt plate.....mine shot off when i loosened last of the 4 nuts...keep hands clear. Another idea - My X only broke BOTTOM (3rd) leaf, i think i would just replace that leaf if i had to do it again, given the bend remaining in the other 2. A spring shop (not autozone/ canadian tire) can supply the part and it would be less work and less cost...
Didn’t need to take the bumper and all that off.. just jack the body up, Lower the axel keep the front and rear bolt in the leaf spring attached undo the spring pack slide in new spring, decompress pack put on ubolt let it back down done
Here's the URL of the shackles from where I bought it: www.4wheelparts.com/Suspension/ARB-Shackle-And-Pin-Kit-OMEGS15.aspx?t_c=1&t_s=101&t_pt=8660&t_pn=ARBOMEGS15#ctl00_ContentPlaceHolder1_pDetail_productSpecs
Hey, Nice job. Sergii I have heard complaints that this setup becomes very noisy with popping sounds. Also, the ride becomes very rough. Any comments or findings?
Hello, I am riding with a trailer twice or three times a week and still had no complaints. Also there are air suspension installed as well. Very happy with it.
Thank you for your time to show how can change the leaf springs x xterra06

I am the American version of this Slavic gentleman. He covers everything in grease whereas I cover everything in anti-seize.

Any suspension work is way harder and takes longer without an impact driver and air ratchet.
Absolutely agree, would be nice to get those tools from a happy viewer. 😉
@@sergiikvasnyi188 craigslist or Facebook market. Ppl practically giving them away for like $50. Especially spiteful x-wives and x-gfs 😂

the man loves his grease
Probably lives in rust belt
