Always like sled and pulk videos. I new to pulks and made one myself. Finally a little snow here in Madison Wisconsin and gave my homemade pulk a try in the yard and down the street and back. Found my cross bars are a bit to tight with the velcro wrap , making the poles not stay even. So i loosened the cross strap a bit. Second my snap came un clipped also straight out of the driveway. I feel do to the tight cross poles. I have a weber grill cover for mine to keep rain and snow out. Thanks a bunch for sharing
Hello, I'am making my own pulka with a sled, and probably will buy a paris sled soon (not very easy to find in France). Thank you for the video. I will probably follow the idea of the two pipes of 20 and 16 mm inside. Going to the shop now, and starting the work to be ready for the snow. Winter is coming...
this is fun problemsolving . I use a kids pulk for sled as its light weight and seem to keep course, better than icefishig sleds. guess due to it having the 2 rail shape under it so Thats fine. Ill try the belt ties thogh :) mine are a bit bugging
Does the short cordage you added allow your carabiners to stay connected to your poles better? I can see how they would silence the connection, how has it been working?

Thanks for the tip for solving problem 3. I just bought a Paris pulk and noticed the risk of the front diving in deep snow - will fix that now!
Thanks for sharing your ideas.
Excellent post, thank you for sharing.
Thank you!

@@caide hello, my pulka is ready. Thank you for your inspiration and your video !
This is very appropriate for me currently as it is snowing outside.
Tarptent Nice, skiing and making winter adventures with a sled is one of the best hiking season.
Excellent tutorial. I am thinking of using long loops along the sides rather than rings or carabiners. Thanks
Thanks. I actually changed that and now I have longer loops. It works really good!
Kiitos! Hyviä vinkkejä, kuten vetolenkit rinkan vyöhön.
Well done and most helpful!
THX! This video helps a lot!

Good stuff! Thanks buddy!
Emanuel B Thanks mate!
Thanks for the info. I’m curious to know why you chose the Pelican and Paris sleds rather than Fjellpulken Transporter 155.
I didn't find that Fjellpulken from any of our store and it seems to be very expensive.

Steve Fontaine Yes, now it worked perfectly! I can't find any more improvments.
you must have shares in duck tape inc lol thanks for the video and the great ideas
its duct tape -like for a vent/duct in an air conditioner system. Duck is a bird.
@@logicalamerican Duck Tape Also a brand of duct tape. Not just a bird.
Vieläkö kyntää, vai korjautuiko nokan nostolla?
Kyllä se hiukan auttoi. Ei kyntänyt viime reissulla, vaikka pehmoista puuteria paljon olikin. Uskoisin nyt olevan hyvä.
I feel like i just watched a video made by ron swanson
This man's mustache is something Ron Swanson could only dream of having.
