Thanks for showing and explaining your pulk! I rent an Acapulka in the last days that worked also fine. But with the fixing system from the tubes to the belt I wasn't happy at all. Your system seems to be easier! Heini
Hey, thanks for the video ! Your system looks very cool, I'm definitely going to try using something of this DIY style with the tarp and simple ropes :)
Fantastic Erik, great piece of gear and I love the coffee making. I have the same kettle as you for camping and I thought mine was black until I saw yours!.
The Pulk allows one to carry a 30 pack of beer deep in the forest, of course in an insulated bag to prevent freezing...that coupled with a bottle of whisky should supply all your beverage needs
Hey Erik, just found this video, must have missed it in the winter and it was great. Bye the way I would like to give you and your videos five thumbs up. Cheers Tom
Thanks for great film. What kind of material is the pvc- tubes made of? Some sort of plumming pipes? This was great inspiration to build my own hauling shaft for my Segebaden pulk
Erik님 안녕하세요! It is especially cold this winter in Korea. I would like to have such equipment and go through beautiful snow field s, but I don't really have the environment or culture to live there. Instead, the equipment is used to slide the sled down a family scale, such as an amusement park. Erik walks through the snow field. You shouldn' t get depressed. Take care of your health and stay warm.
Hej Franz. I saw your video. It looks very practical to have your whole sleep system in a bag like that! And the tent also. I will try something similar :) Atb Erik
Thank you so much for your amazing videos, Erik!! What is the lenght of the pipes? I'm following your advice and building the drag system too. Thank you!!
Hello Erik and thanks for all your super cool videos! and of course for your "morning coffees, holy moment" :) I followed your advice for building the pulka traction system. But I have a question: what is the length of the plastic tubes? happy New Year and continue these beautiful videos! Gott nytt år 2021
S m a r t construktion... Own that pulk, but I have no dragsystem. Now I know how to make one. Do you think it´s possible to use a regular wide leatherbelt or is a backpack needed?
Great videos! And I really appreciate you sharing your setup. I have something similar, and I cross the poles, but I'm struggling with keeping the pulk from dragging me down when traversing the side of a hill (yes, it is rather heavy with wood for a fire). I tried some angle iron that I screwed into the bottom, but it didn't work very well. Wondering if you have a solution for that?
Looks cold from here :p good stuff dude enjoying your videos :) Also was curious would it be viable to over modify and use the sled as a sleeping mat in a way? to get your off the bold floor? like adding a thermo mat to the sled, given its long enough for you to lay in/on
I built a pulk very similar to yours years ago to pull our daughter on the snow. I can't remember if I crossed the plastic pipes though. These are very popular straps in America. Made by Voile skis in Utah state. www.voilestraps.com.
It's unbelievable he has such a low count of subscribers, shows the world is full of dumbs, any random stupid content gets millions of views, and here such a masterpiece gets only 22000?
Great video, what i like most about is the diy modification style. Always an inspiration to see how people solve problems or improve things.
Your videos are my favorite! They bring me peace and joy. Thank you
Thank you very much! :)
Thanks Erik for sharing your experience and knowledge.
Thanks for watching :-)
Great information Erik. Simple, concise and highly functional! And the DIY spin is always a wise choice.
It doesn’t snow here much, but I enjoy sitting on the pulk watching the calm of Sweden and the hiking. The pipes are a great idea!☕️👍.
Well done Erik. Great pointers for my own pulk sled build.
I could give only one thumb up , but its one out of one! very good video!
!
MORNING COFEE... HOLY MOMENT!
Thank you Erik for making this video. I had many questions about the pulk, and you answered all of them. Great video.
Very zen, as usual, Erik Normark. Thanks. Always enjoy.
Thanks Gary
Thanks Erik. A simple system created by yourself.
Thanks, for sharing! I am planning some winter trips in Austria, where I have to carry a lot of things; so the Pulk is a very good solution!
Just what I was seeking - very good setup, I just need the snow now.
Amazing landscape!
Thanks for showing and explaining your pulk! I rent an Acapulka in the last days that worked also fine. But with the fixing system from the tubes to the belt I wasn't happy at all. Your system seems to be easier! Heini
Thank you Heini. Yes this system is very flexible and easy to use. I haven't tried the Acapulca though. Atb
And wonderful landscape :-)
Thank you needed this info for my game sled 👍🏻
Hey, thanks for the video ! Your system looks very cool, I'm definitely going to try using something of this DIY style with the tarp and simple ropes :)
Horizons snowy horizons, there is no living soul, for kilometers. With certainty there live wolves, you have courage,to sell, bravo👍👍👍👏👏👋
Great job on that snow sled Erik
love the scene with the burning lamp
Yes they add feeling to the scene I think
Sled is absolutely superb in flat terrain, otherwise not so much. Greetings from Norway
I agree. Hilly terrain is a pain with sled!

Excellent vid thanks. Wow, your English is way better than my Norwegian, although my mother was born in Oslo!
Another interesting video 👍🏻

Nice work. On a local Mt. No hardwood can be found. I'm using a sled and snowshoes to bring firewood in Winter. Peace
More Pulk cam. Nice economy Erik. Rope and plastic tubing. And a nice sled.
Thanks Brian!

Nice Erik!

Very nice Eric. I'm a pulk pulling fool myself 😃👍
Thanks. Pulks are very addictive :)
Bra gjort Erik !
Excellent video thanks
I'm looking forward to doing something like this soon
What type of backpack do you use to attach your pulk system ? Fjellpulken Xpack Rucksack 25 L ?
Hög trivselfaktor och bra info om pulkan. Tummarna upp !
Tack för det LG!

It seems it has been a real winter at many places. It's good for people like me who like the winter outdoors!
Good thing as your country is hosting a big 'party' for two weeks! 😎⛷🎿
Hei Eirik, nice Pulk sled and modifications. I have the same one by the way ;-)
ATB. Franz, bugikraxn.

Very informative, thanks.
Thanks Dmitry!
Thank you Erik for the information about your sled and the modifications.
Thanks for watching! Atb
High Erik, it is a good idea with the plastic-tubes. Kindly Fiete
It's a very simple solution but works very well. Atb
Sorry Erik, but the pipes,...are they typical Biltema pipes?
Great video. You need two Malamutes for nighttime insulation! !
:) Yes, that would be nice company too!
I admire You!!!Good job :-)
Thanks Maria!
Thanks for your video. How long are the plastic poles?
Hi Erik, I'm currently rigging my pulk, how long pipes are you using? Cheers from north Iceland.
Hi, I think they are almost 2m. Good luck with yours! Cheers

Five thumbs up for you Erik. Is the word Pulk a Sweden word? Who makes your kettle? Thanks for your good work.
Glad you like it Paul! Pulk is from the nordic and finnish languages. The kettle is a Trangia. Atb
Superb video Erik, mind to introduce your sleeping system to stay warm at night?
Thank you! Yes I have plans to do something about the winter sleeping gear later.
awesome

Thanks. With a long enough sled it would definitely work! Unfortunately this one is too short.
yes your right just a random idea :) loving the videos :)
Takk for filmen :) skal bruke dine tips :) MvH fra Tromsø
:)
Nice film Erik. ⛺️
Thanks!
How is this setup when going downhill? Will it stay behind you ok, or have tendency to pull out to the side?
Downhill is difficult. You can hold it in front of you or put a rope under it as a break.
@@erik_normark Ok, thanks. Fixed it like yours now, will try that first. Then i might try ropes and aluminum tubes after.
Erik, you sound like Sylvester Stallone a little! 👍🏿
Erik, hur långa behöver rören vara? Tänkte göra en likadan konstruktion.
Mina är 2m
Que cool amigo =o

Pulks are very useful for many things.
hei erik du burde prøve og montere inn lite strikk også i din pulke drag da blir det mye mer smidigt att dra pulken 👍👌🇳🇴😷
Q: Why did you cross the pipes from left/right, right/left?
Shorter turning radius than if the pipes are running parallel.
I believe it’s the same principle as the rear steering in turn maneuver
What brand of hiking boots do you use ?
When I ski I use Alpina bc 1600 boots
It's unbelievable he has such a low count of subscribers, shows the world is full of dumbs, any random stupid content gets millions of views, and here such a masterpiece gets only 22000?
whats the name of that jacket?
Klättermusen Bilskirner.
U r lucky😔
DOOD!
Anything but flat ground and you regret bringing the pulk.
