Ever since I was 8 Pink Floyd has been my inspiration. I remember being told to pick a movie to watch before bed with my cousins growing up and they all picked Disney and I always ended up picking the wall. They didn’t like it so I got to go to sleep in the other room and watch it. Now I’m 27 and I listen and boy how relevant their music is to the world.
Well, say, things could have gone up the roof by Young Lust, and The Wall is more of a complementary interpretation, highlighting the horror. Great movie, but if I was 8 and watched it, I would have pissed my pants (I was paranoid of Solomon Grundy when I was 6)
When I watch this video and listen to the words of this beautiful song, the words say to me. Who is us and them, we all born grow up and chase the dollar bill and in the end reflect on a great life! This song released about 50 years ago and I'm not sure if we figured out who is us and them, many in this video walking on bridge are probably passed away, replaced by today's generation. Over coarse I fell in love with all of his vast library of artistic genius. I live in the same town he did and never saw him live. He would throw an new years bash every year at the Ryman. I wanted to go every year but damn, those ticket prices. I always told myself next year but then covid came and then he was gone. R.I.P. LEGEND. It's really sad few people know he even existed. If more knew him this world would be a better place.

My grand-father talk about this handsome band with a pig flying over Montreal in 1977. My father refer to them as the best show ever he had seen in his life at the ''Stade Olympic de Montréal''' in 1994. In 2022, I did go to their mortal remain, but my sd card screw up once theres, so I couldn't take pictures once there. Still The best expo in my lifetime.

As a veteran this song hits hard because I saw what a man could do to another man in the heat of loss, rage and death. Nothing matters so life doesn't matter. War is pointless. I saw man's true bloodlust in the battlefield. I too was consumed by it and was too lost because of it. Life? War? it's meaningless when you're dead for no reason other than the quarrels of old men too chicken shit to join the war themselves.
