cool, nice bass solo...
The bassist is amazing. Him and his dad who plays sax are both on top of their game
Let's not leave out Unc. on trumpet....
BEAUTIFUL / OUTSTANDING! Love the guitar, great bass pop/snap, drummer laid down a great rhythm and had a sweet snap to his beat,
The drummer ?? Well no fantasy, but the way he plays, his timing etc.. etc.. is one of the very best I have ever heard.
These studio jams are fantastic.
Wow, beautiful, Grover would be proud.
I love this song, RIP Grover. This is a great rendition - especially the bass solo...very nice. Thanks!
What a treat listening to such great musicians.
A great groove. Too me it sounds wonderful. Thank you fellows.
Love it beautiful players with great feel and taste.
Super skilled and not human musicians❤
Man, I had so much fun jamming along with this video on my guitar, I felt like I was there playing with the band! Thanks for this vid!

That bassist!!
Great tone and phrasing all the way around. Deep pocket and the mix was tight. Nice, thanks.
That was actually pretty darn good! 👏👏👏
That was Fantabalus !! :)
That's amazing
These guys are so good
That was great, I wonder how a cleaner tone on guitar would sound? I love the song and I really enjoyed this! Great job!

Dave Hanlon is solid as a rock!

Wow!
Buenisimooooooooooooooo !!!!!!!!!!!!
Funkier than a mosquitos tweeter
Bass Player is “ Killer” !!!!
I really liked this jam, nice to see a tribute to Grover Washington too. Nice playing all around, though I wish the guitarist didn't kick into overdrive on his solo. It's a nice solo and I think it would have sounded even better on clean setting.
shamu11470 or even if it was just a tad lighter on the overdrive it may have struck a smoother balance. But I still dig it.
shamu11470 p
Great music 👍
When I do my cover, I'm debating on if I want my do that guitar solo with that much distortion or if I want it smoothed out. In the original song, it was about this level of overdrive, though the guitar solo was tucked back into the mix a little more and it blended better. But that's the beauty of this song, if you are doing a cover, there are so many ways to improvise, and do what feels right to you. And remember, the original song was 45 years go, and most covers try to modernize it in various ways. I kinda like this level of overdrive, but at the same time, I could dig a more smooth, groovy jazz solo also. But, my smooth guitar will be there at the beginning and end of my cover. From the other covers I've done, I know it will come out of me "organically" as I put together the song......
Agreed. 🎸 Player was a little out of place in overdrive mode on this song
Badass yes
que locuraa!!!
Nice..That drummers on point..
Cool remix. But I still love Jason miles version which I can't seem to find on RUclips.
Genial
that groove, folks....
Every day I see you,
My hands were made for you,
And you always give me stress me free point of view,
Pick you up after school
[Chorus:]
(Mr. Magic) Take a token,
(Mr. Magic) Of my love,
(Mr. Magic) I see you through the smoke
Without you, a misery,
Blue with a migraine,
All the songs sound better when you're next to me,
Hey, coz they come naturally
[Chorus]
Laying on my bed,
I reach over for you,
And you so fresh you even make the standards bloom,
But its just to you through
[Chorus]
(Mr. Magic)
(Mr. Magic)
(Mr. Magic)
Waiting for the smoke to clear.
I'm waiting for the smoke to clear
I'd like to have seen more interaction between the bassist and drummer during the bass solo.
show,👏👏👏👏👏👏
great but would of been nice to hear the other guys solo.
Fucking great
Where the hell do these dudes play, beside the garage? They need to hit the streets! They definitely have rhythm. Yes indeedy 👍!
Muito bom.
I thought in the original there was also a great bass intro with the organ. Or am i just imagining? Anyway, this is great. My only criticism is not letting Michael take the lead with his piano so the guitar doesn't do double duty.
Woow
Spike Lee and Alan Rickman on keys. Well done.
1:02
anywhere to get the guitar tab for this jam?
By transcring it. ;)
Git it now. Musicians. Git it.
👍
What key is this song in????
Since nobody answered my question I'll answered in case anyone else wants to know. If they are playing in teh key of the original song, which most covers of this song do, they they are playing in Cminor
Mr magic.
Good .....but bass guitar should should be enhanced for good vibe and best results....✌
But it sounds good
Baby now.
Who is the Bassist?
Check jamz 67 summertime. Music family, father and uncle play sax and trumpet.
Bass solo section was tasteful as fuck.
strange guitar tone?
KILLER!
!!!
Let's play together. Dave (guitarist david snow RUclips)
No we wasn’t listening to the jimmy hendrix guitar back in the day.
Okay... although guitar and drums very straight, very square. Loosen up guys and swing it a little!
i hate to admit it, but i agree
LOL isn't it funny whether it's professionals or garage band amateurs whenever someone's talking going over a part...it's either a saxophone player or guitarist playing while a person's trying to talk.
Good version of this song but no one will ever beat Grover Washington on this ever
Why do I feel this sort of music involving real talent and skill is on the decline. It's all sampling now.......and electronic stuff. Am I missing something?
Yes, you are :) Look around on YT, there's still a lot of good stuff being made
Man that's phunky!
While that solid body sounds ok a hollow body would sound much better. Fenders aren't very good jazz guitars too much tin
amici tutto troppo quadrato e poca fantasia. batterista piatto poco movimento, piano e tastiera inutili, basso migliore di tutti ma il suo suono è davvero orribile peccato.
👍
