    I stayed at the Crescent when I was around 17 years old. My family and I even went on the Ghost Tour. It was after this that I always felt like I was being watched. That night I could hear my bathroom door swinging open and closed. When I got up to check it out, there was nothing there, but the area was ice cold, easily 30 degrees cooler in that area of the room then over by where my bed was. One of the creepiest nights I have ever experienced. Also while on the Ghost tour I felt like there was a small boys presence in the area of the morgue and it felt like he had tugged on my hand. I told the tour guide about the feeling I was getting and he turned white and said he had only ever heard of a two other people experiencing what I did and said that it was very rare for the spirit of the boy to come out, but that he was always found in and around the morgue doorway. It was that experience that got me into the paranormal and have since had several other experiences in high paranormal activity places. Thank you for all the hard work you did in putting this story together. I love watching you guys!!!

    My partner and I stayed at the Crescent a couple of years back. We are both fascinated with the paranormal and that was the main reason we chose to stay there. I'm a creep, he's a peeper. The ghosts must have liked him because they killed his phone while we are staying. When we woke up in the morning, the phone was totally bricked. I have heard a few other stories about how hard on electronics the place is. You should totally go, it is beautiful and quite the experience. The bar is on the top floor with a glorious view of the mountains. Two weeks after we stayed, I saw a news report that a man fell to his death in the main stairwell. Another life claimed by the Crescent? Keep up the good work, I love the podcast and Timesuck!

    Immediately clicked as a native of the area and a new subscriber. I gotta tell you about my stories of the crescent soon, I'm very sensitive to this stuff and when I was taken for a tour there I got nothing but the creeps. I've been on the ghost tour twice but explored on my own a few times, the Cresent hotel is truly a creepy subject
    (Maybe I should elaborate?)
    My parents took me first when I was about 9. I don't remember much of the trip, but the crescent stuck out to me vividly. My long hair got pulled and brushed repeatedly, I was talked to being the child in the group, and the place was infested with red wasps. Not a good vibe

      The best chill area of eureka springs is a walk away, though. If you don't like ghosts, there's an eclectic shop that has rabbits that take your money when you pay. It's just as cool and I'm happy to have experienced both this shop and the crescent in the same day. (And the tattoo shop is the best)

  • @PsychoSpecter
    @PsychoSpecter 4 года назад +4

    I'd like to ease Lynze's mind a little bit by saying she's not the only one seeing stuff. I'm not even particularly sensitive, but over the past year or so activity has ramped up literally everywhere I've been and around everyone I've spoken to. It's gotten to the point where I have to use my tablet as a light just to safely make it to the bathroom at night because I'm constantly stumbling around the hallways trying not to step on cats moving around my feet that are absolutely not there when I look directly at where they seem to be. I can assure you the stories of spoopydoop aren't drawing anything bad to you, so don't worry about finding Dan a new co-host just yet :P
    Whatever is happening is washing over absolutely everything everywhere, so you're not alone.
    You're never alone...◉◡◉

    I live 40 minutes west of Eureka Springs. Its such a cool little town! If you get a chance to visit, definitely do it!! The Crescent Hotel is beautiful and you can still rent rooms. When you walk in, the floor board creak and you can just feel the history of the place.
    Mud Street Cafe is an inexpensive little Cafe in a basement down on mud street and its really cool too! All kinds of little shops to visit! My wife and I always have a good time when we go. The upper rim in Eureka is all kinds of tacky, but when you go down the hill to the old part of town, thats where all the cool stuff is.
    They also have all kinds of festivals throughout the year. They have the longest running folk festival in the US.
    Y'all!! Go visit if you're in Arkansas!

    I was also born “veiled”. This is when the amniotic sack does not break prior to you birth and therefore you are still covered in the sack as you exit the burg canal. Always thought it sounded pretty gross but interesting how it carries varied significance through different cultures.

    My bff and i went to The Crescent Hotel in 2017. It is such a sweet town. We stayed in the VIP or President room. All night I felt pinches on my toes. It kept waking up me and I thought “this has to be bed bugs”. We didn’t know the place had a haunted history until check out. Guess what . . Pricks on the feet are a reoccurring act of one of the ghosts there. My bff and I were reading one of the huge books they have during check out. We just looked at each other when we read this. So was The Bunny Man using an axe or a hatchet? I'm really hung up on the words being used interchangeably!
