Okay yes I also noticed the glitch too! I didn’t actually buy anything because I thought I would get blocked at check out but it definitely explains why some of the items I’m seeing say a few more in stock.
Last fall I purchased the Birks single buckle in British tan /gold and I love them. I was also never a huge lover of the style and these changed my mind! They also did a collaboration with Staud this year and I purchased those as well.
Get the single buckle Birk! They are SO comfortable! I’m hooked

I love the NSale but I hope they add more-I was really underwhelmed this year. And so disappointed in the purses. Was really hoping Tory Burch would come back to the sale.
I'm influencer level and noticed the glitch that I can add/purchase from the anniversary sale. I added a random item into my cart just to test (never intending to purchase!) and Nordstrom immediately locked my account and kicked me out of the website. Harsh, but I think Nordstrom caught on at that point and tried to fix the issue. I was just frustrated that the whole site was down the whole day for me and then I was not allowed to log into my account anymore. Had to call tech support to fix the issue.
The preview sale was a bit disappointing for now, but that means I can splurge on the bigger ticket item that I normally skip out on like that Reiss coat. And I really like that there's more Monica Vinader jewelry in the sale!
I agree that the handbags selection was disappointing. Hopefully, they’ll add more. It looks underwhelming to me this year. But I guess that’s a good thing so I can just not shop this year since I have 2 babies’ birthdays this month, our AC broke, and I already have 2 trips planned before the end of the summer. 😬 And I’m surprised they’re not canceling everyone who ordered in advance due to their site glitch. Seems like that would have been the more fair thing to do imo.

I've had a preview of the NSale. My main disappointment- RevitaLash is missing from the sale. At $100 a pop, it was great getting 2 for that price. I see that they're doing it for the brow serum, but not for the lash serum.
I'm absolutely loving the boots that you are wearing.

I was never a Birkenstock person but now I’m all in! I purchased the Madrid wide buckle in white a few months ago. I have worn them more than anything else this summer. Definitely purchase the off-white that Nordstrom is offering. You will fall in love! (And note with this style, unlike other Birkenstocks, the footbed matches the leather on top-nice touch!).
I have the Madrid sandals in tan and love them! Super easy to dress up or down. I was underwhelmed by the sweaters, just seemed like so many iterations of a basic crew neck. Excited about the jeans!
I felt robbed when the only Tory Burch in the sale was perfume.. especially since TB didn’t include traditional millers in their sale.

Omg 😂 I was also waiting to see a Madewell color block cardigan! Those are definitely over, at least for now. Also underwhelmed with the handbags. Kinda tired of the same ole Rebecca Minkoff styles lol 😅 still excited for some new fall booties and a winter coat!

Not overly excited about this years sale. There isn't much I saved on wishlit. Maybe only a few things. The handbag section isn't good. I liked the MCM bags and disappointed they are no longer in it. I guess its a good thing that I don't really want more than a few pieces. Will save me money! lol

For context - I am “tall” / long torso/long armed, with 32” ribcage and AA “narrow” feet….
I can’t wait for your NSALE coverage! I am really disappointed with the lack of The North Face ski sweaters and puffers! Also no Hue leggings! And slim pickings on any sexy options for narrow feet. Also so much poly. I don’t care if it is recycled it is still not something I want to buy too much of. But it is in everything! Also the purses are meh and a lot of plastic again. What happened to Tory Burch? And no RMS makeup? I don’t think there was much clean makeup. I am excited about the Lafayette 148 and St. John but there is no way I am spending that kind of money right now. I don’t think I saw anything in yoga or work dresses for tall sizing at all. I am interested to see which of the P448s you recommend and if you found a good white blouse. I think I will spring for a designer bag if I don’t find anything in the sale but I want it to count towards next year’s status so I would like to know when status resets.
I was disappointed in the Veronica Beard blazers this year. I see that you showed the one that is Chanel inspired, but I was concerned about it looking somewhat cropped. Any thoughts?
It doesn't look cropped to me but it does have a shorter cut in the back compared to the angles on the front. I was hoping for a solid neutral blazer in the sale so I was bummed about that too!

I'm hoping for that Reiss Coat (I missed it last year)
How is the fit? I'm generally a 2 but sometimes size up in coat for layering room
It depends on the style - I ordered it early during the glitch to try sizing and compare to mine so I'll share once I get it in. The one I got in the sale last year ran big (had more of an oversized fit in the shoulders) and I ended up getting a similar style (the Agnus) from Reiss directly and it was more tailored and I got a 6. The one this year looks more tailored like the one I have but we'll see!

Funny thing is that I noticed the glitch. But I didn't think things would go through. So I didn't pull the trigger and order. Darn it
I thought the beauty and make-up offerings looked good but the clothing and bags selections kinda look underwhelming. Boots look very similar to what they have almost every year.
Yes, they really should have cancelled all the orders that they messed up on and let slip by just to be fair to their high spenders. I am a little over the sale now and not really excited about anything.
I'm ICON and I agree! Especially if things were selling out but I don't think anything did that I came across. I could see it going both ways whether or not they would honor their mistake or cancel everything. My friends who are ICON were annoyed by the glitch.

I agree with you, i love the Nsale, but it does seem like it’s just a lot of the same things we see year after year. The only thing I’ve added to my wishlist is a few beauty products and a pair of boots.
I have a few things added to my wishlist. I’m sad that there isn’t any Tory Burch bags this year as well. Also not seeing the jumbo size Paula’s choice 2% BHA either. Like giving those as gifts at Christmas.🥲 I wished I would have ordered the St.Tropez tanning mousse when the glitched happened, saw it was available for purchase but by the time I was done looking at other things to add to cart the glitch was caught and wouldn’t let my purchase go through. Can’t wait to see what else they add to this sale. Thanks for keeping us updated. 😊
Check your order because I heard from another influencer that the orders were all going to be canceled that went through "accidentally" during the preview. 🥲
They have shipped! I got an email from Nordstrom saying they would honor the orders placed with the Nordstrom credit card.. I did have 2 orders get cancelled though since I didn't use my card
