Smoking, drinking, insufflating...scratch, scratch, sniff. The SECOND Tom Waits comes on the soundtrack and I'm like, Damn- they must really like Tom. Must be some good shit I'm smoking, because with the power of my mind, I'm able to remix film soundtrack with the good shit. Then, in the movie, Tom Waits pulls up, blazing out of the desert in a convertible Cadillac, braying some gibberish mumbo-jumbo and "You must save the child." Then, I remember looking into the bowl piece of my pipe, thinking maybe I was smoking something altogether different than I thought I was. It was just weed in the bowl, but yeah, I found some time-travel in there.
I’ve only listened to Rain Dogs (which I really, really enjoyed). Can you make any recommendations for what other Tom Waits albums I should listen to next?
@@realname5332 Rain Dogs is easily one of the greatest albums of all time. Check out Frank's Wild Years and Swordfishtrombone, too. Waits considers the 3 as part of trilogy.
@@realname5332 Well, if you want variety in an album, Mule Variations is a good choice, but if you want a dark and gloomy album, Bone Machine is the right one for you. But those are just my suggestions. Feel free to listen to whatever you want.
In the scene is so trippy because they just all wrecked drv on a thermos full of peyote infused coffee hence why the scene is so trippy it's not garbage, some people are on different wavelengths
