They should figure out a way to have all T-Mobile phones automatically switch to the Alaska Airlines satellite system without needing to log in. Even without official onboard cell service, it could be possible via Wi-Fi roaming solutions like Aruba Airpass and Google Fi W+.

I'm one of you're T-Mobile prepaid Representative. You need to do better job on helping people get their money back specially those customer who wasn't able to use you're services after making their payment. I feel like you're baiting customer into a trap. You guys on top don't really see the big picture specially you Mike Sievert. I hate to say this but I started to believe that you guys are like stealing money from customer. It's really sad most of them doesn't really have much money that they sacrifice just to have service but sadly they can't get it back. Mike Sievert people need help! You need to be a better human being and be considerate!

I came into T-Mobile from being a previous Sprint customer and was so happy upon merging onto the T-Mobile network. When I was on Sprint - my signal was so awful that I couldn’t take or make calls because they would either a) drop all-around and not allow me or b) if I did get decent enough signal for a second then the quality would sound distorted and they wouldn’t hear me at all. And then the data was so slow that it was literally like being on dial-up in 1999. Awful!! The fact they even advertised their service in my town and zip code seemed like straight false advertisement because hardly anywhere throughout my town did the quality work.
And then T-Mobile came in and saved it for me. Especially given the fact I was financing a phone through Sprint and couldn’t pay off a $1200 phone at once. I still had like $850 remaining on it when News broke that T-Mobile would be buying Sprint. So…
It took a while to finally get over to their towers and network after they bought Sprint out - I only just officially migrated to the T-Mobile billing system this past week! I’ve been using the Sprint app to make payments, look up my account, contact customer support, look up my phone information, etc. but I’m now using T-Mobile’s and can finally merge over to one of y’all’s plans. They gave me the option to remain on my Sprint plan and retain my prices for the time being but I decided to drop it and merge my 2 lines over to the regular Magenta plan so I can get the “Netflix On Us” Basic included in my mobile bill. Basically, I’ll be paying the same but getting Netflix included means ill have one less streaming service to pay for but also, T-Mobile allows you to redeem Paramount+ into your phone bill. They also offer 12 months free if you are okay with ads….. a lot of ads! Lol I redeemed it last year after I migrated to the T-Mobile network and OMG… I barely used Paramount because the ads were as frequent as commercials on TV and just as long. I can tolerate Hulu with ads more than I could Paramount’s ad plan.
They didn’t allow you to include Paramount with your bill just being on the network though. You had to be in their billing system so now that I am…. I’m so happy to be able and get the Paramount+ add-on and just pay it when my phone bill is paid. It’s so convenient for those of us who do use (and pay) for a lot of streaming services. I hope you offer more add-ons in the future, like Hulu.. which was on the Sprint side. Hopefully one day you’ll offer all the major streaming services and great deals for combos and stuff like that. But even if there isn’t a discount or deal - just offer them as add-ons at normal rates and that would still be great !
In all honesty - I’d even pay a convenience fee to have them all in one place! Lol
Anyway.. since being on the T-Mobile network I have much much better speed, connection, reliability, and an all-around improved service and I’m so incredibly thankful for it! I notice many people contaminant and unhappy about various things but trust me… it isn’t until you’ve been stuck on a truly horrible service, paying a lot of money, and unable to make any calls or use the internet on your phone away from home/Wi-Fi that you become grateful for just knowing you will know if someone calls you or piece of mind knowing you can get a hold of anyone if you need too. We are owed a service when we pay for it each month and when that service isn’t being offered at even the smallest amount - you feel robbed. If I didn’t have that open contract for 2 phones then I would’ve left much sooner! But whatever… it worked out. Thank goodness y’all stepped in! Not only did you have an already superior network and presence throughout the country with your towers but you expanded your capabilities through the merger with Sprint and took their incredible reach and magnified it with your superiority. It worked out well for me and many others, so…. Keep bringing it!!!
I’ve been saying you will be the Verizon by 2030 hands-down. You were the 3rd largest carrier in the U.S. when I would tweet that often. You’ve since overtook AT&T to become #2.
The 5G lead and your merger with Sprint added with your competitive marketing strategy and brilliant engineering team will be your ladder to the Top. It also helps that you’ve got a “younger” and youthful vibe and feel to your image and branding. 🤩
My only complaint though…. and it’s a necessary and important one = You’ve gotta get ahead of those security issues that continue to plaque your reputation and OUR privacy and safety! It’s not cool. I got another email today from y’all about some “light” information about me and my account possibly hacked by another security breach. You just settled a massive one this past fall I believe. I know one of those hackers responsible for one of the largest data breaches ever - against you - spoke about it and talked about how easy it was and how weak your security was. Which leaves me feeling vulnerable and questioning if that’s enough to make me want to leave. I just assumed you would get ahead of it the first time and improve it, definitely by the 2nd! And now more stuff is happening, so… it’s definitely not a great look.
If you would put more time and the same level of top tier talent and funding behind your security as you do your marketing and engineering then - you probably would be much closer to overtaking VW by now. It’s the only thing…..
