The most Canadian thing I've ever seen is a sign attached to the fence surrounding an irrigation dam. It simply says "Please Do Not Vandalize This Dam." Add it's working! I was recently by that way and stopped to see if it's still there. It is, badly sun-faded, but still there nearly 30 years after I first saw it, and the dam is still in mint condition. It hasn't even been tagged. How Canadian is that? A sign asks people to not wreck something, and people have obeyed the sign for decades. I'm convinced it's because they said "please." 🙂

It's one thing to cultivate an image as everyone's loveable dudebro jerk, especially where he can put out ads people willingly watch or make fun of his own shortfalls in films, but finding out just how decent he is in ways that are less public and certainly not shoved front-and-center really makes Ryan stand out as someone worthy of the fandom he has.
